My Holy Grail for Hydration – Perfect for Combination Skin! I’ve been using the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water as a staple in my routine, and it has completely changed how my combination skin feels. It’s a lightweight, watery essence that absorbs almost instantly without any of that annoying sticky residue. How I Use It: Daily Routine: I apply roughly 3 drops per quarter of my face (forehead, both cheeks, and chin/neck). It preps my skin perfectly for the rest of my Beauty of Joseon serums. Post-Mask Recovery: On days I use a clay mask, my skin can feel a bit stripped. I double the amount of essence to give my face an extra drink of hydration, which immediately takes away that tight feeling. Why I Love It: Combination Skin Friendly: The 2% Niacinamide is amazing for balancing my T-zone oiliness while the 80% Ginseng Root Water keeps my drier areas deeply nourished. The "Glow" is Real: It gives me a revitalised, "glass skin" look that lasts. My complexion looks much more even and plump since I started using it consistently. Gentle & Soothing: Even when my skin is feeling a bit sensitive, this never stings. It has a very faint, earthy herbal scent that I find really relaxing, though it disappears almost immediately. Anti-Ageing Bonus: Knowing it’s packed with antioxidants and saponins to help with fine lines makes me feel like I’m really investing in my skin’s future health. If you have combination skin and are looking for something that hydrates without being heavy, I can’t recommend this enough! It pairs beautifully with the rest of the Beauty of Joseon line.

Fantastic product. Have been using dynasty cream for a while so wanted to try some other products. I have dry sensitive mature skin but this is gentle enough for daily use. I often find toners make my skin feel taut but not this one. Have been using it for 2 weeks now and my skin feels much more hydrated.

I really like this essence water. The texture is just right, not too watery but not too thick either, so it absorbs easily into the skin. It doesn’t have an unpleasant smell, nor is it overpowering in any way, which I really appreciate. I have sensitive skin, and I use this as a prep step before applying my other serums and moisturisers. It hasn’t caused any breakouts, and I can feel that it helps keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. Overall, it’s gentle, effective, and feels like a really nice addition to my skincare routine.

Esta esencia de agua de ginseng de Beauty of Joseon se ha convertido en un básico de mi rutina. La uso justo después del tónico y se nota cómo aporta una hidratación inmediata, calma y frescura sin saturar la piel. Tiene una textura acuosa que se absorbe al instante, ideal para pieles sensibilizadas o que usan activos como la tretinoína. El único detalle que no me entusiasma es el leve olor herbal por el ginseng; no es desagradable, pero preferiría que fuera más neutro. Aun así, los resultados son excelentes. Muy recomendable como primer paso después del tónico para quienes buscan una hidratación eficaz y suave.

Dopo la detersione, uso le mie acque essenziali (conservate in frigorifero) per spruzzarle e picchiettarle su tutto il viso’. Lo stesso marchio ha un olio il cui massaggio sulla pelle prima del lavaggio rende un'esperienza completa di salute e bellezza del ginseng’. L'essenza fredda prepara la pelle, idratandola come deve necessariamente fare. Prima dell'applicazione di eventuali creme. Lotin, creme solari, trucco, ecc ecc. È l'acqua che la nostra pelle assorbe che vogliamo sigillare con le creme (fatte di oli per sigillare e acque). Il profumo leggermente medicinale di questo tonico. Come l'olio, mi dà la sensazione di trascorrere una giornata alla spa. Speciale. Un rituale di purificazione durante il quale respiri consapevolmente e con calma, cambiando il ritmo della giornata.
