I think this is a great bargain for the price. I live in an apartment complex with the most bizarre and unexpected grade changes in the sidewalks. It's okay in the daytime, but at night I can't see them. I've stumbled many times in the 4 months I've been here, and two times outright fallen, the most recent time bruising my ribs. I have to walk at night so my dogs can avail themselves of the outdoor opportunities. The management says they are working on the lighting, but since this is a huge place, there are still many areas with substandard lighting. After the last time I fell, I realized there was something I could do about it. I bought this great headlamp. I had thought of carrying a flashlight, but that would be too cumbersome with two dogs, poop bagss, etc. Then it hit me that I shoiud get a headlamp. I found this one for this great price. It fits snuggly around my head and didn't even need adjusting. It requires 3 AAA batteries, which aren't included. If they included them, they'd probably lose money! LOL. I adjust the light to be centered a couple strides in front of me and no more falls! It also helps with picking up the poop. The light is plenty bright enough, the direction adjustment is easy, and the light has other uses, too, such as when I work on delicate crafts and need a brighter light. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It might have saved my life!

Really liked this lamp when I first received it. Comfortable fit, great lighting with 3 settings. Unfortunately, when we took it out on the first trip something in the switch must have malfunctioned. First we couldn't get it to turn on, then it wouldn't turn off. Sadly I had to return it and get a different brand.

I bought these for my young children (ages 3 and 5). They were cheap so that's great ($5). However, the light itself is larger than other headlamps i've used and probably a little too large for their heads. Its fine, but had I seen the size ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have bought them.

Works as expected. Not as bright as other headlamps I have owned before, but great for the price!

Does not work properly. won't shut off unless you take the battery out. Goes on by its self just sitting there

Very good product. Bright light. The headlamp swivels too which makes it very convenient and handy. There were a lot of expensive headlamps I saw for sale but I didn't want to spend a lot for something I wasn't going to use constantly. I wanted something affordable that I could use at night around my house when it was necessary. Like when the power was out or when I wanted to go into my backyard to check on a noise. I love the fact that i can keep both hands on my shotgun while I search the premises with ample light. Anyways a perfect headlamp for the price! Fits nice around my head, throws a perfect amount of light, and very easy to operate. I would recommend this to anybody looking for affordability and quality. Thanks Maykway!!

Decent light output, but due to the thin foam on the back plastic it is very uncomfortable to wear for moderate to long periods of time. I'll keep it for emergencies but would not buy again.

We bought 2 of these... one works and the other the headlamp part doesn't even come on -- the only thing that comes on are the red flashing emergency lights. I guess for a few dollars what can be expected. I'm just hoping the other one continues to work. They were gifts for Christmas and it's a bummer I'm having to return one.
