Thank you for your question, the jack on our cable is 2.5mm(headphone) on one side and 3.5mm(phone) on the other side.

Q: is the size of the jack compatible with airplane ports?

Yes. Just used it on a delta flight

Q: I have two questions: 1.as anyone faced issue with Mic. Barely works 2. on pressing vol up/down button, it gets stuck with +/- to full or zero, why?

I feel you might just have a faulty product. My mic works great and my buttons don’t get stuck

Q: With bose qc25's, plugging this into interface to computer or to iphone (with adapter), the + and - don't do anything. center works. any idea why?

I've never tried using it on the computer. I just use it with my mp3 players.
