Have you ever wanted to print in abrasive filaments? Now you Can! Your nozzle is the last and final step in your extrusion system, and maybe the most important part of your 3D printer. With plain plastic, any common metal can easily hold up against the flow. Unfortunately, once we start using plastic filaments with hard reinforcement fibers such as carbon and glass, things start to get more complicated; these reinforcement materials will scratch the inner wall of your nozzle orifice as they pass due to the flow and pressure. Both glass and carbon are known to be very hard, a lot harder than any metals, resulting in what is known as abrasion inside your nozzle. The more you print; the worse it gets… That’s why Technologyoutlet, a dedicated and passionate team working on the development of high performance 3D printer parts, created the Tungsten Carbide Nozzle: a state of the art nozzle that offers good durability and performance for almost any 3D printer, such as MK10 FlashForge Creator Pro/Creator X,/Dreamer/Finder. Raise you temperatutures
This is not a pure tungsten carbide nozzle, and the product description (lifted wholesale from dyzedesign.com) is incorrect. This is in fact a Cobalt cemented Tungsten carbide nozzle. This is important to note, Dyze's nozzle is pure TC which does indeed conduct heat very well, almost as good as diamond, with the best heat conductivity know to man.Cobalt cemented TC is between 50% and 75% worse at conducting heat than regular brass nozzles. You will have to raise your printing temperatures significantly to print with this nozzle, I usually print at 190-195 with PLA and was getting terrible first layer and layer adhesion, the green benchy (printed by another purchaser) above shows significant beading on the layers indicating the temperature is too low for proper adhesion. When I pushed my PLA temperature up to 220 (225 for ceramic and carbon fiber for which I purchased this nozzle) this fixed all my woes, and I can now print strong dimensionally accurate parts again. If you expect to double your print speed as per the Dyze nozzle, this is not for you, buy the genuine article and pay the premium for the vastly increased machining cost required to work pure TC. If you simply want a hard wearing nozzle for abrasive materials, this one will outperform ruby nozzles with terrible heat transmission, and last longer than your printer. Please note: Amazon is full of Chinese Co-TC nozzles that have also stolen the Dyze product description, one look at the bright silver Dyze TC insert (its impossible to machine pure TC threads, requiring multi-part construction) compared to the one piece dull black of Co-TC shown here will inform you these are significantly different materials with different heat properties. Once your prints are dialed in with the correct temperature this nozzle will print as well as your stock brass.

Made from a hard wearing and very tough material.
It is a 0.4 mm extrusion nozzle for a 3 D printer. The material from which it is manufactured is Tungsten Carbide, it should therefor be able to work with any and all plastic and abrasive filaments while showing minimal if any wear for a considerable period of use and in any event much longer than Brass, stainless or hardened steel.I have not yet used the nozzle and so cannot state that this is in fact the case. 4 stars because nothing is perfect.

Decent
Works well enough, crank up temps by about 10 though

Quick and always accurate to the descriptions
hoping this beauty will outlast the printer , excellent price too.

Simply excellent
Only just received this and while time will tell how well it holds up against carbon fibre, it performs beautifully with PLA on a CR-10S with a Micro Swiss hot end.
