Works well for making Shirataki

Purchased two of these - one to make pasta with, the other for my husband to "puck" his pipe tobacco. I do not make homemade pasta often as it is pretty labor intensive but this little tool did pretty good!!! Used my bread machine to make the dough then slapped a ball into the chamber on this puppy and got to cranking.For the pipe tobacco portion of it that went well too! The threads are heavy duty and even when we really cranked it down it held up well. Side note we also used wax paper with the tobacco pucking. Expect some tar like substances to also goo out as you pick the tobacco. May be a lot depending on moisture and PEG in the tobacco blend.

The noodle mold often falls off when pressing the noodles; the plastic sleeves on both sides of the handle fell off after the first use, and the exposed steel tubes are hollow, sharp, and easy to cut hands; the base of the noodle press is not brand new stainless steel, it should be cut and polished from other old items in the past, and you can see traces of incomplete polishing.Additional: In December 2024, the key parts of this device are completely damaged and cannot be used.

Great product and easy to use. I would highly recommend to everyone who love to make homemade pasta.

Cheap and easy to use. Exactly as advertised. The crank wares out after a fair amount of use but I would say still worth the price.

Liked it but not recommended unless you know how to make noodles for the recipe because it doesn't come with any recipes.

I don't use this for pasta/noodles. I started using this to press pipe tobacco and for that purpose it works wonderfully.

I ordered this for a gift for my fiancé who loves to cook and create dishes and he wanted to try to make his own noodles. I was so excited to give this to him but as he opened it and looked at it, the product is not ready to use. The metal needs to be sanded and finished in places before he can use it. It looks like it came off the line and was just packaged without being properly finished and polished. So as a gift, he can’t use it until he does work on it. I’m so disappointed and frustrated. I knew for the price it wasn’t going to be top of the line quality but this is just beyond me. He can’t use the gift I got him, until he finishes what should have been done before it was even sold from the company. I wouldn’t recommend this product or company at all. I wanted to return it but he insists on doing the work on it and using it. That’s his decision, it’s his gift, but it angers me that the quality is so bad.
