Great Concept
Compact and well made. Good concept, strainer / chopping board that fits in the cooking set. Unfortunately it did not fit either of my MSR camping pots and I had to return it. Wish MSR would make something like this.-F

Good function, minor nesting issue.
Alright, so to explain what this accessory is all about, it is a hard plastic disc that can perform multiple functions, a Multi-Disc, if you will, hah. It serves as a small cutting board, strainer for the pots, lid for keeping food warm in the pots after cooking, lower windscreen support, and is all-around a rigid piece that can mate with Trangia 27 gear. There is a cutout for the pot gripper handle, and there are a series of grooves on the underside that allow for a fit with the pots. The picture instructions show how the Multi-Disc can mate with the lower windscreen in order to keep the entire apparatus afloat on the snow. I don't intend to use the product in this way at all, since I carry a folded aluminum foil piece that would likely serve that purpose, and besides, one might still need the disc for straining or cutting board. I also use the aluminum foil for serving and a just-in-case protective liner to separate the stove set from a picnic table, for example. All the other functions are quite useful and work as expected, that is except for seemingly one. There is about a 1/16 inch or a little more than 1.5 mm shortfall in the diameter of the Multi-Disc ring that could fit around the upper windscreen for storage purposes. What is the result of this? Well, it is mostly annoying really, in that the disc will most of the time fit in one part of the groove, but stay raised on top of the windscreen lip on the other side. Thus, when you package the frypan on top and strap it down, you will notice an angled fit and a somewhat odd shape for stowing away in the backpack. This is minor, and I can't really envision too much in the way of uneven wear on the Multi-Disc or frypan parts over the years because of it. That being said, a good fit might be achieved by using a small file, Dremel tool bit, or router to shave about half the material from the outer ridge. I may double-check my measurements with a more precise instrument before attempting this, but I may give it a try and edit the review to report back.Edit: I have been nesting my Multi-Disc with my Trangia 27 series stove upside-down relative to the windscreen, which just adds about a 1/4 inch of height to the packed dimensions. I don't have a router setup currently that would be small enough or likely accurate enough to widen the ring to fit as intended. I have been meaning to get a Dremel tool that would do the job nicely enough with a small sanding drum. As of now, the slight amount of extra volume while nested is fine. Also, another minor benefit to this product is that it is sold as an accessory and not forced upon the customer as part of the 25 or 27 series cook set. Trangia allows customers to mix/match official accessories, or possibly make due with something homebrew. Speaking of which, I could imagine someone making his/her own Multi-Disc out of a plastic sheet about 1/16 inch thick. Just poke holes, cut a pot gripper space, and probably just forget about the underside grooves. One would just have to be somewhat more careful to apply some pressure to the disc and pot while straining such that there isn't a slip, but I think a groove-less Multi-Disc could work.

Straining noodles got easy
Perfect for your Tringia cook set. I like to pour off excess liquid from my Ramen noodles into a cup to sip while I eat them. Can be used to keep the bugs out, hold the heat in. This is the second one I have bought.

The best Pasta strainer/Cutting board for your Trangia 25/?27
This piece of plastic does wonders if you're using a Trangia 27 or 25 cook set. It's made as a cover to keep your food warm, a cutting board if you're in the woods and a pasta strainer to dump the water out without throwing all the pasta on the ground. A very effective yet very simple device made by the Swedes and this device is a MUST HAVE you have the 25/27 series . A very highly recommended product!

27 series fits well
Fits my Trangia Duossal 27 kit nicely. It doesn’t snap on but fits well. It’s a lot stiffer and thicker than I expected. Should be good to keep it from sinking in the snow!

This is great for straining
This is great for straining, vented covering, and an impromptu cuttingboard. Mine does warp a little when used while cooking, but if you use it upside down it will flatten back out.
