dreadfull print... no atention to detail.
unfortunay I can't give less than one star. I would if I could.I can't comment on the quality of the book... it might be amazing, it might be as diabolical as the printing.there has been ano error in the print file and this has changed certain letters to symbols and jargon, making for an unreadable wedge of expensive kindling. I am exceptionally disappointed.there is a photo enclosed in this review.

Not too useful
I have somewhat of a background with welding, and working out in a shop all my life, I found there is little in this book that I had not figured out myself, and that my old "Mechanics Illustrated" books from the 1950's had not more than covered. I would not buy it, had I been able to look thru it at a library.

A truly simple way to knife making
I got this book after being impressed by The Backyard Bowyer from Nick. This book does a great job of giving you a primer to knife making. It starts off with some basic fundamentals which are clearly and thoroughly explained with being too overwhelming. Then moves into a guide of how to make three different types of knives with three different techniques. The book covers a lot of ground without losing me. It’s a great guide to start knifemaking and I can thoroughly recommend it!
