Seamless, compatible with multiple platforms like Windows 7, 8 & 10 and overall, a great performer with intuitive ease of use
Bought this as I needed a longer distance laser pointer that was versatile enough to work with several platforms. Flawless operation with Windows 8 and also compatible with Windows 7 & 10--the deciding factor in selecting this more expensive model than that of another touted brand that didn't seem to be as widely compatible. Love the green color. Did not use Power Point yet image slides comprised of jpegs advanced seamlessly. Laser was adequate with a conventional projection screen. As with other makes, beam seems absorbed with flat screens. 100 ft. range was achieved and when I went beyond that, spotty performance with easy recovery once back within the published range. For my use thus far I did not try the timer but am persuaded it should perform as noted. One caveat that is probably consistent with other laser pointers: When distracted in answering questions, et al and screen saver time out is invoked on laptop, I found I had to nudge the computer's mouse for override to resume a state where laser operation is once again permissible. Easy to learn how to operate even if you're unfamiliar with these devices. I can't brag enough about this product and wanted it able to utilize multiple platforms to grow with me in the future, maximizing my long term investment.

Does NOT work with ProPresenter.
I bought the Dino Wireless Presenter for under $20 and it works great at church with our presentation software, but it did not have the more advance features. So I decided to spend the "big bucks" to get a really "good" remote. After buying this Canon remote I found it does not function properly with ProPresenter. If I keep it at home and only use it with MS powerpoint directly then, Yes, it works fine, but I am VERY disappointed at it's failure to work with other software, other than powerpoint. Of course I should also rank on ProPresenter for it's failure to be flexible. So I will give you that.

Works great, except the battery can get drained out if you forget to turn it off. Takes a little bit of habit. But I like this over the default Kensington that everyone gets. I used to one have of those but wanted to try something different. I'd still get this but again remember to turn it off when you're done. Laser is awesome and strong and can be seen from far.

Great presenter, worth every $
This presenter is a bit more expensive than others, but I have found it fully worthy of its price. It feels solid, well made, and very ergonomic. The timer feature is very useful. The controls are well designed and the buttons are easy to find. I use it with Windows and I didn't have to install any drivers. And of course a green laser is a thousand times better than a red laser for any presentations. I am a university professor, I use it almost every day from Monday to Friday and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great clicker.
This product is definitely as advertised. You aren’t going to get fancy with a PowerPoint remote, but this does have some neat and functional features. The range is definitely good enough for any medium room, conference room, and classroom. The time is a bit difficult to work with and does time out leaving you wondering what the actual point is the timer. I mean, I know why they have it, but why have it time out so you can’t see it? That’s honestly the biggest complaint besides the pricing. Seems like it could be 10-15 dollars cheaper and it would attract more consumers. Great job Canon.

Lost wifi signal constantly at less than 35 feet
I got this product to replace a 15 year old inexpensive remote because I wanted something with more range. I was testing this out in a room 35-40 feet from the computer. It constantly lost the wifi signal and would not advance the presentation. Especially if my arm relaxed and did not point directly at the computer. If I went slightly out of site from the computer it stopped working altogether. I hooked up my old cheap remote and it worked much better. I am returning immediately.

Great remote - unfortunate audible "clicking" sound - can't use for Live Broadcasting
This is a reliable remote, stable, competent. Unfortunately I needed it for live broadcasting and the audible "click" it makes when pressed is distracting when airing/streaming.
