Smaller size than I originally thought, will be great for travel. Don't mind 19mm brush , handle a bit on smaller side.1st badger brush..it's great , lathers and holds soap well. Not pokey as some have mentioned..at least for me. I can recommend this item.

Nice little brush. For its small size (and I mean it’s pretty tiny), it will suck up a TON of water! And most importantly, it retains heat. The badger hair is of supstantial quality and the craftsmanship is top notch. If you’re thinking of buying this for your main brush or “daily driver”, think again. It is for travel and that is made clear the first time you try to intigrate it into your home set up. Unless you have a very shallow lathering bowl, it’s not going to work. I feel that I had more lather on my fingers and the handle than in the brush. Face lathering might be better, but my attempts led to more frustration as my preferred method is bowl lathering... Overall, this is a great brush for what it is and I don’t own a better TRAVEL brush. I was given a Simpson’s travel case as a present and they go very well together. Just don’t try to use it for your home brush.

This changed my shave, and while I am sure there are "higher end" brushes the value here is great. Simpson brushes are high quality, best badger hear is enough difference to tell vs pure badger, and I like the short knot it makes lathering a dream. Very Soft and doesn't stink like cheap brushes do.

Excellent smaller type brush. Needed for trimming around facial hair.

Best brush I ever bought. No loss of bristles.
