Red Wine Aerator With No Scratch No Drip Stand

I must admit that I was a little bit skeptical about these products, but I now see that they really do work. I can't say that the flavor is enhanced tremendously, but there is an improvement and the difference in smoothness is amazing. Try a little wine in a glass straight from the bottle, then pour the same amount into a glass through the aerator and you will be impressed. The product has an appealing look and I feel the price is very fair.

Easy to use, small enough to leave out on bar, enhances flavor of red wine especially, the second one I have purchased cause I left the first one in our New Hampshire home and missed it here in Florida for the winter. Merlot and shiraz didn't taste as good without it!

I'm just getting started with wines and thought I'd give this a shot. My son doesn't really taste any difference from using the aerator and not using it. I think it provides a little bit more of a smoother palate.

Without a lot of experience dealing with aerators, I was happily satisfied with this attractive looking glass aerator. It works great and the stand makes storing very convenient.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and he loved it. I don't think he was expecting this when he opened up the package, but I thought it would be a fun gift since he does enjoy a glass of wine at dinner.He told me he uses it every time he has wine and keeps bragging to me how big a difference it really makes.

I've been intrigued by aerators for a few years and was excited to try this one out. The packaging of the product is great - it comes in a sturdy box with a storage bag and instructions (although misspelled) on how to get the best experience with the aerator. You were instructed to taste the wine three times: 1) straight pour from the bottle, 2) poured through the aerator and 3) straight from the bottle.My husband and I did this together and we agree that after the wine was aerated, it felt much "lighter" and the nose was expanded. We did not really experience a noticeable difference in flavors, though. Trying the wine straight from the bottle made it even clearer how improved the mouthfeel was after being aerated.One surprise - we followed the instructions to pour down the sides of the bowl, as opposed to straight down the middle of the aerator. Unfortunately, wine leaked out of the air vents and onto our table. Luckily, we were able to wipe up the spill, but I would definitely not recommend using the aerator over a stainable surface.Final thoughts: we had a good experience with this aerator - the wine was definitely more enjoyable after using it. While it didn't noticably enhance the flavors, it did enhance the aromas and finish. We will definitely try it again with a different wine.
