Yes, I am currently experiencing the exact same issue. We purchased the unit in December and was using for the first time today. It worked good twice, and now it won't turn on.

It is 7" tall. It is 4" wide including handle and 2 1/2" wide at the round base. Hope that helps

You just described an iron. Just get an iron with a good steam function like a Rowenta or higher Sunbeam model.

The cord is about 6 feet long. ( I don't have a tape measure) Could you plug it into an extension cord? This is actually a cool steamer! I use it all the time in place of my full size steamer. Hope this helps!
