JKS MFG. JKS OGS128 Adjustable Track Bar

I bought my 2004 Jeep Wrangler with a 4" lift kit already installed by the previous owner. I noticed compared to my last stock Jeep that this one really seemed to want to wander all over the road. I took it to a couple different shops that found the steering box and other steering components were loose. After replacing all of those myself, it was better, but not cured.Finally after some digging I found out that a lift causes your front axle to become offset from the frame. Sure enough, without even having to measure I could see that my driver side tire was further out from the fender flare than the passenger side. I ordered this adjustable track bar, removed my old non-adjustable one and got the axle perfectly centered with a ratchet strap from the axle to the frame. (and much measuring and adjusting) With my 4" lift I did have to cut off a bit of the threaded end as it was still too long even all the way threaded in.My Jeep now drives great and is actually fun to drive again instead of feeling like it wants to dart off the road!

This is super high quality piece but I'm knocking off a star because the instructions aren't clear as to whether the bend at the axle end should bend up or down. Otherwise, no issues yet. Would probably buy again.

Installed on my 03 Rubicon with a 4in short arm lift. The lift kit came with a double shear style trackbar that worked fine offroading, but highway driving was poor. The JKS trackbar gives you the best of both worlds. Plenty of flex for offroading and smooth highway driving. I tested it out on Holcomb Creek trail (3N93) and had no problems.Installation is fairly easy as long as you have all the right tools. Note, you have to drill out both existing mounting holes to a larger diameter. It took me about 4 hours to get it installed and adjusted. Though majority of that time was getting it adjusted.

Does the job but not terribly happy about having to drill out the tapered fit of the OE unit.

You can make it fit for 2" spacer lift but it is all the way in for adjustment. But if planning to add more lift in the future than you can adjust it back out. Rebuildable joint service kit available separately. Nice coating. very heavy so you know it is tough. Have to drill out frame bracket to 5/8 and axle bracket to 1/2.

One star for the moment. Had very slight death wobble before install at 50MPH. Now I have INSANE death wobble at 45MPH.

fits 3" lifted 1997 XJ.Loctite and torque the lock nut. It drifts and gives you a clunk when the torque of braking tilts the rod- this will cause premature wear.

Fits perfectly, Easy instillation replacing my full traction crap!
