Mr. Pen Wooden Artist Palette, 2-pack Oil Palette

Bought these to replace a plastic one I got glue on. These are light to hold, handle paints well, inks ok (they tend to sink in quickly) and has a nice feel to it. For a low cost purchase, I’m pretty happy with the results

I like mixing colors on these palates & it's ligjtweight.

These wooden palettes are lightweight and comfortable to hold, even during long painting sessions. The finish makes them easy to clean, though I noticed a bit of staining with certain paints. They’re great for mixing colors and feel very professional. Overall, an excellent addition to my art supplies.

Using these pallettes for painting contest as a canvas. They all look very smooth. No knots. Cant wait to see how the artists create with them.

So I gave them a little sanding before applying linseed oil. Use a lint-free rag; leaving a thin layer of oil. Let it dry for a few days, keeping it dust-free. Then repeat until you have two or three layers at least. Allow it to dry in between layers. Once that is done, you can oil paint without the paint absorbing into the wood, and it makes cleaning easier.

Kinda cheep, kinda small, but fits in my wet pallet keeper. Using it in the studio to get used to it, but the plan is to take it with me for travel and plein air. It is a bit rough on the hand holding it but I could run some sandpaper around the gripping surfaces. Not really a problem for an hour or two but I have noticed some redness on my wrist and hand when I used it for 4 hours with out a break.

Large wooden pallete, great price, great quality. Kids used on the beach to paint shells.
