I took a chance and purchased this for my bedroom tv. I already run an Nividia Shield in my main room. I connected up and connected to the 5ghz wifi and on a 150 meg connection this Pendoo was giving me 10 megs download and 5 upload WITHOUT a vpn. I put my Nividia in the same location and connected to the wifi (it normally runs on ethernet) and my shield gets 120 down and 17 up. This is going right back. Very weak processor. You get what you pay for.01/08/22 So the company got in touch with me through Amazon and they said they wanted to "make things right". I told them I already returned the unit and they offered to sent me a new unit. It was another Pendoo X12 pro. It was the same thing all over again as I typed above. The only smooth running thing about this machine is the opening little video advertising Pendoo when you power it up. Other than that, right out of the gate with no software downloaded...you notice lag in the menu. I decided to connect it to ethernet and I was getting 60 meg down with 5 meg up. This is with everything in my house on ethernet getting well over 150 meg. 60 meg is still decent for streaming. Very laggy when trying to watch tv and it takes a second or two for the menu to catch up on streaming and it stutters alot when watching tv.If you can't afford an Nvidia Shield. Get a Firestick. A Firestick is blazing fast compared to this thing. And if you want your firestick faster...spend the extra 14.00 on ebay for an ethernet / usb converter for it.

For starters, nothing works as it should. The WiFi is absolute doggie doo, nothing broadcast or streams in anything but Standard definition. Every aspect of apps are jittery and dont load properly. I had such high expectations for this device, I doubt anything would be a pleasure to watch. Ended up reconnecting the Gen 1 Fire Box and its lightyears beyond this thing. There is way better products out there for 1/4 the price folks. I cant imagine how others rated this beyond 1 star. On another note the blue tooth keyboard remote worked great, I may pick one of them up, that's where the 1 single star rating comes from.

The same day I received this product I installed it on my TV. The interface is slow. The remote is slow. Dish network and peacock doesn't work on it. The same day, I bit the bullet and went and bought a Google Chrome Cast with Android tv built in for half the prcie.

Yeah been using it for most of the year been very happy with the Box even have purchased a second one for the bedroom replacing my old boxes not bit unhappy at all
