I've been using the ESR MagSafe Car Charger for over a year now, and it's been a dependable companion for my daily commutes. The magnetic hold remains strong, keeping my iPhone secure even after extensive use. Fast charging has been a consistent feature, proving especially useful on longer drives.The versatility of dashboard and windshield mounting options has been great for adjusting to different vehicles and finding optimal viewing angles. It's worked well with my iPhone, and I'm glad it's compatible with newer models too.After a year of regular use, I did encounter an issue when the nut snapped. This happened outside the 1-year warranty period, which was disappointing. However, I was genuinely impressed by the company's customer service response. Despite being out of warranty, they quickly sent a replacement part at no cost. This level of support well beyond the warranty period significantly boosted my confidence in the product and the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.The charging speed has remained consistent throughout the year, though it's naturally not as fast as some wired options. The magnet strength is very good however, if you have a cover on your phone without a magnet built in, it does not hold. I opted to buy a mag lock phone case just to be safe. Magnet is so strong nearly pulled the holder off at one point when removing the phone.Fast charger works automatically and holder can be used with or without. Charger stopped when phone became too hot, so fail safe worked.Great quality, and super sturdy. Used for over a year and only stopped using when I bought a new car which had navigation and CarPlay built in.

I bought a Quadlock case, mount and the wireless adapter that was needed for the P8P. Great stuff, but the one thing that all the current mag chargers suffer from, is there coils are in the wrong place. The P8 (and from what I have read, the P7 too) has a charging coil that is offset. It's slightly further south of the G, on the back of the phone.ESR has addressed this situation (currently, there is only one company that provides the correct case, which is Mous) by providing a separate MagSafe that sticks to the back of a phone case. It works. Chargers at the speed you need, given you provide the required port speed.The one setback this mount has, is that it runs VERY hot. Given the current climate, no problem, but come summer, I'm sure this could be a problem. We'll see.Thank you though, ESR, for providing a practical and cheaper alternative. Mous, like Quadlock, expect us to spend over £100 for a case and mount.

Very happy with this. It sticks well to the dash, doesn't wobble around too much. I am using it with an S24 ultra, spiegen magsafe case and a 45W power supply. The phone holds really well no issues with it falling off. It also fast charges.

The sticky bit literally failed on first use. I’m not a sausage I know how to install correctly, it’s a waste of money. The product works great but doesn’t stick well. And that’s the whole point.

I've has this for over 18 months now. Took it to greece during a heatwave and this thing stuck to the window like its life depended on it. Usually, the suckers fall off with high heat, but this one did not.The cable could be a little longer for some cars, but its fine for mine.Charging is good for a car charger!

This is the best car phone holder I've ever used. Phone is held firmly by the magnetic plate and is charged wirelessly. Low profile when not used (unlike some non-magnetic holders). Unfortunately the nut behind the magnetic plate developer a crack after a couple of years of use and it couldn't be tightened up enough to hold the phone up. ESR support sent the replacement after I contacted them and it arrived the next working day! Thank you!
