It does the job effortlessly. I like my gear to stay clean and looking new as long as possible. Everyone knows that dust and electronics always seem to find each other. The decksaver fits perfect and keeps the dust away from the surface. It also protects the gear, but I have no plans of placing anything on top of the unit. I honestly didn't want to pay the price, but looking back, I'm glad I got the purchase behind me. "Buy Once, Cry One is the rule of thumb for me in most cases.

The media could not be loaded. The plastic is really thick, I like the Smokey tint to it and it fits my MPC like a glove. I was Leary to pay the money and glad I did.

It's a perfect fit to the MPC Live II, very great product.

Decksavers are well worth the money. Protects the surface but also keeps it dust free. Which is great because the Live 2 is a dust magnet.Fyi: Also anyone struggling to keep the pads and buttons clean, scotch tape works wonders.

Protecting an Akai MPC Live II Retro... fits nice, and allows me to pick the unit up with one hand (carefully) on the display side for switching between studio and travel. Also, fits well in the hard (foam-lined) case I got. It can pop up a little from the edges snagging, but that's no big deal. Just push it back down in.Confident this unit will last for decades, this way.

Just what I needed. I thought is wasn't a big deal to raw dog the Live2, but after I got this thingy, I never take it off if I'm not using it. It really is more useful than what I was expecting. But it is quite expensive for a piece of plastic. Thankfully the size is perfect and fits like a glove and it feels very sturdy.
