It’s well price, and I feel comfortable locking my weapons in it while driving.

This is a nice quality gun box. It was also a good deal, and it shipped and arrived quickly.

I got this as a travel safe so not to entirely concerned if it has a large gap in it that you might be able to pry open because that isn’t why I bought it. However, I do want it to lock in some sort of capacity. Out of the box, it was not able to do that. The hole where the locking mechanism rotates into was not cut long enough to engage the lock. As another person mentioned, after drilling out the hole to make it longer, this product works just fine. The combination rollers were a little stiff at first but after trying to rotate them a couple of times I got them loosened up. Other than that no complaints on this product and after fixing it, it now works exactly how I need it to work. It gets 1 star though because I needed to work on it before it was a usable product. Buyer beware.

Right out of the box everything looked great. Instructions were clear and was able to set up my own combo in a few minutes. Great!... Except that when in the locked position, it was still fairly easy to turn the knob to unlock it. I was also having trouble scrambling the combo in the locked position. After doing some sleuthing, I noticed that the piece of metal it latches on to was too far over, so it wasn't allowing it to completely latch. Well after taking a drill to it and widening it up a bit, everything works smoothly now. Looks like it'll do it's job now. Will update once I get my gun how well it fits everythingUPDATE....Fits my m&p shield 9mm single stack nicely. Holds one mag comfortably, can squeeze in two if you really want. Just careful that nothing hits the inside lever to change the code, as this happened to me once. Luckily I didn't accidentally change the code! All in all, very decent for the price you get, debating getting a second one to keep in the car. Would recommend!

Worked great for 3 years. But part of the locking mechanism is cheap plastic so it broke. So much for durable high-tensile steel…

Perfectly affordable. Great in case I have to leave firearm in my car.

This safe will not lock without drilling holes. I learned that after returning and getting a new one. This item should be taken down until this is fixed as people are using it to hide their guns, often from children. That being said, the feel of it is amazing. Super solid. You could hit an assailant over the head with this and it would have a similar effect as shooting them. I use mine for transporting and shipping hard drives as I work in media.
