The container is large and seemingly well designed, with a few strips of velcro on the bottom to keep it from sliding. It is supposed to have clips to securely hold the container either completely collapsed or with one box open and the other collapsed. Unfortunately, the one we received was defective. The clip system requires a male clip to slide into a female clip on each side, but there were three male clips sewed on the same side of ours, making it impossible to connect. Since this obvious defect would be instantly visible to anyone who looked at it, quality control at the factory is lacking. The container does have a bad smell as noted in many other reviews. Returned for refund and ordering a new one since we like the concept, design, and size.

I use this in the back of my Ford Expedition to stop groceries and other items from rolling around. So far so good! The handles are holding up just fine after a months worth of use. The little bit of velcro on the bottom has done a good job of keeping the organizer in place and yet the velcro doesn't prevent you from lifting the organizer out with ease. It did have a strong smell for the first couple weeks but that has dissipated.

This is the largest collapsible trunk organizer I was able to find on Amazon. It's very sturdy, perfect for those flimsy grocery bags that have a tendency to let your groceries roll all over the trunk. Highly recommended.

I paid full price for this and feel it is worth what I paid for it. I wanted the black one because it would be easier to keep clean, but at the time I bought this it was twice as much for the black as for the tan. The tan matches my tan interior pretty good though.It folds out and has hard square inserts to firm up the bottom and get it all to stay open and hold its shape. I could fit two easily in my mid-size SUV, so I may buy a second one.Its kind of sexy looking with the fish net pockets and bungee lace up thing. Not sure what I will use them for, but its nice to have them. Its canvas and the handles seem sturdy, but I doubt I will ever use them, unless it is to lift it when its empty. The interior dividers are a thinner nylon and not the same as the exterior, but do a good job of keeping things from flying all over the back of my car.THE SMELL, whats up with all this stuff smelling like petrolium? Lately, I have had a few different items arrive with this strong smell! Its so bad that I have had to remove this from my car to allow it to air out a bit. It gives me a headache! I wonder just how dangerous this smell is, especially if you had a baby in the car. Anyway, just thought I would let you know this and suggest you air it out outside or in a garage before putting it in your car (unless its in your trunk, in which case you probably wont be able to smell it).

This trunk organizer is perfect, the color matches our interior of our car, most organizers are black. It stays in place it holds plenty of items. I will purchase a second organizer just for groceries it's sturdy and the price is right.

The smell was strong at 1st as many have complained, but 2 days sitting on my patio in the AZ SUN TOOK CARE OF THAT!Have for the cargo area of my cross over, secured with adjustable strap to cargo anchors...works and looks grest.

Not as sturdy as I thought. Overall it's okay but it doesn't really work for me. Looks like a laundry basket is my only option. note I've had this for over a year.

This thing stinks, a chemical smell. I washed it with soap and water, left it in the sun for a week. It's been in the garage for several months now, and it STILL stinks. No way would I keep this in my car.
