The Sewell deadbolt banana plug have a 24K gold plated steel tip for crystal clear audio and superior durability. Installation one of the best things about the deadbolt banana plugs is that installation is quick, secure, and requires no tools. Just follow these steps. Feed the cable through the bottom piece. Push the cable back over the teeth on the bottom piece. Screw the top piece to the bottom one. You're finished. All in all you should only need 10-20 seconds for this entire operation. What are banana plugs? Today, many electronics use the banana plug interface, also known as binding post (referring to This connection in its female form). this female binding post connection that accepts this banana plug is found commonly on virtually all audio/video receivers, speaker wall plates, and more. Banana plugs offer an alternative to inserting a bare speaker wire into the equipment. Often a bare speaker connection is not as reliable as a assured banana plug connection. Wires tend to get pulled out or frizzy after time passes. Banana plugs require only one install, giving you a permanent and robust connector at the end of your speaker wire.

Excellent quality banana plugs dont hesitate buy them
Great quality. Easy to install. Inserted spliced wire and fanned out coppering. Lower the base slightly to tuck wiring in neatly then lifted up and squeezed wirings snugly around cylinder before attaching the flex pin top. Match colour coding to the flex pin connectors keeps life simple. dont short in your amp or speakers After, that just sit back and listen to some good music.Would purchase the Silverback Right Angle Banana Plugs.

Design flaw & DANGEROUS!! - Not suitable for Amplifiers.
Purchased these connectors as I wanted to use very high quality 12 AWG pure copper speaker wire (which is rather thick) with my NAD 2150 Power Amp from the 1980's. The spring-loaded connector clips on the back of my Amp (see photos) are arranged quite close (which is normal!!!) as pretty much all Amps were in the 1960's, 70's, 80's and into the 90's....these connectors are metal bodied, bulky and touch each other which short-circuits the AMP!!....very dangerous!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!The solution which is working well for me was to purchase a wire crimper and high quality copper ferrules.

Nice quality with only one minor issue...
These are really nice speakers plugs. I would give them a 5* except that the case is metal, and you have to be really careful to ensure adjacent plugs don't touch. Some kind of insulating coating would prevent issues.
