The best I've found for oily and sensitive skin
I have a combination skin type, where some parts of my face get super oily very quickly. I have to use a mattifying product about twice a day to keep the shine at bay. My skin is also very sensitive to chemical sunscreens. I usually can't wear them because they cause redness, irritation, and burning.I just spent a ton of money trying to find the best sunscreen for my face to get me thru the rest of this summer. So far, this lotion has been the best in balancing out qualities such as: effectively prevents sun burn, appears sheer (no white cast), feels lightweight, is not greasy, does not cause or worsen acne, and is affordable.Like I said, my skin normally isn't able to tolerate chemical sunscreens. However, this Neutrogena one was the least irritating to my skin. In fact, it does not irritate my skin at all. It has been the best (out of 6 other sunscreens) as far as leaving my face feeling and looking non-greasy and moisturized. After applying, my skin is left with a natural - slightly satin - sheen. I still have to apply a mattifying product to control shine thru out the day. The mattifying serum I use applies great over this product - similar to how it performs when applied over my usual moisturizer.I have used one of Neutrogena's Sheer Touch suncreens in the past. (It was a lower SPF.) I've always been pretty satisfied with it. I just couldn't find that specific products, so I went with this one. I wasn't sure if the higher SPF would make this product feel thicker or greasier. It doesn't.

Perfect for sensitive acne-prone oily skin, smells of tires at first but it slays!
I really love this sunscreen! I made the switch to this sunscreen as I have been having problems with sensitive skin, really deep and painful pimples, as well as overly oily skin. My skin wasn't always like this and changed recently. Since it changed, I needed to find a new sunscreen that didn't fuel my sensitive oily skin acne problems. Maybe a few days after using this sunscreen I hadn't gotten any new pimples, and my skin didn't feel oily until the very end of the day when I washed my face. I didn't change anything else about my skincare routine. Because of this sunscreen my skin is having a chance to heal! This sunscreen is proving to be great for my skin, the only downside is the smell, which is a bit pungent when first applying and smells a bit like plastic or new tires. The smell wares off within a few minutes.Oh, it is also important to note that as someone with oily skin, I start my morning skincare routine by washing with a gentle cleanser and then using a hydrating toner and applying the sunscreen. I've noticed that if I use any moisturizer under any sunscreen whatsoever that my face will feel overly oily by the end of the day. This sunscreen works very well on its own with no moisturizer, it also works well under makeup.

Perfect everyday sunscreen
I’ve tried many sunscreens and this one is one of my favorites. It’s super lightweight, not greasy at all, and wears well under makeup. Most importantly, it doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts, which is a big plus for my acne-prone skin. I feel protected and comfortable wearing it every day. Totally worth it!

Comparing it to the ultra sheer dry touch, pretty similar
I have both the ultra sheer dry touch (spf 55) and the current product, the clear face (spf 50). They were about the same in appearance; both are not shiny at moderate applications. I would consider both to be matte. The clear face did feel a bit more greasy/smoother than the ultra sheer, but it definitely still is non-greasy and non-oily. It just felt like the ultra sheer had more friction and was more powdery if that makes sense.I did notice that in very heavy applications, the ultra sheer would pill more than the clear face and leave a little white cast. When I rubbed the spot with the ultra sheer it started to pill up significantly more than the clear face. However, both still did great in not pilling up in general. If I had to guess, I would say that material used in the more powdery and matte feeling in the ultra sheer is the culprit of the increased pilling and whiteness. If you have darker skin or very tanned skin and like to apply a good amount of sunscreen for ease of mind I guess, I would advise you to avoid the ultra sheer. The ultra sheer had a twist off cap, and flat tip with a hole in the center. This means that it is easy to clean and get all the sunscreen off. With the clear face, it has a pop off cap which is still attached, allowing for easier one hand use. But this does mean that it is messier as you can't get all sunscreen out of the concave tip. Sunscreen builds up on the tip cover as well which is annoying. Both sunscreens will sting if they get into your eyes. Both also initially leave a tiny bit of a white cast during application but disappear once you rub it in and give it a few minutes to dry down.If you have a costco membership, Costco has the ultra sheer dry touch 5oz + 3 oz for $16 which is more value. I advise you to get that since the differences between the ultra sheer and clear face is negligible. But if I was forced to choose one, I would choose the ultra sheer just because of the more cleaner cap.Update after weeks of using both: I did notice that in moderate applications sometimes the ultra sheer dry touch would sort of pill if I were to disturb the layer enough (itching, rubbing face). It would be slightly visible and look like white dried sunscreen. I didn't really have this problem with the clear face. I also noticed the ultra sheer dry touch dried out my face more compared to the clear face, probably due the more powdery ingredients.Update 2: I have then switched to korean/japanese and abandoned all my US sunscreen including this neutragena one. The asian sunscreens don't sting my eyes, are way more cosmetically pleasant (I can't tell im wearing sunscreen), less drying, and some are quite reasonably priced on amazon. There are some out there on amazon or other websites with the same/slightly higher price per gram compared to this neutragena one. I use the skin aqua super moisture gel but the seller and product page is gone on amazon so just look around at various sunscreens and websites.

Great sunscreen
This is the only sunscreen I use for my sensitive skin.It doesn’t cause irritation or breakouts, which is great. While it can leave a slight white cast, I personally don’t find it to be a major issue—especially considering how gentle and effective it is. For anyone with reactive or acne-prone skin, this is a good option.

I really liked it!!
I really liked this sunscreen! I have oily skin and it’s always hard to find one that doesn’t leave my face shiny or heavy. This one really surprised me, the texture is light, it absorbs quickly, and the finish is beautiful, not greasy at all. Perfect for daily use, even under makeup. I’d definitely buy it again and recommend it if you have oily skin like me
