Great for beginners! This was my second ever macrame project and I loved it! Super easy directions, photos of how to do the knots (I still have the pamphlet and reference it often). Comes with plenty of cord that is good quality and durable. It’s a beige color rope so I dyed it for everyone’s gifts as I don’t like the color but it was perfect for learning!

Been really wanting to get into macrame and thought a kit would be a good place to start to see if I liked it. And I do! The kit came with everything you need, I did end up being two strands short for my last project but that’s on me for not measuring correctly lol personally felt like the instructions were very easy to understand and didn’t find the videos as useful as just reading the book. Im pretty crafty and pick up on things easily but you only work with a handful of knots throughout all three projects. It doesn’t specify how tight or loose to make your knots and they are pretty small wall hangings but overall I’d say it was worth it!

I really enjoyed the projects. It starts with an easy one then gets a bit more difficult. The directions were ok not great. I ended up with lots of waste. The videos are interesting, but not much help. The part being worked is often out of screen or behind her hands. I would like to have seen a knot made slower specifically for the camera view.

Love this kit. Its great for beginners or for those refreshing a once though lost art. each kit contains everything you need to complete not one, but three different projects. You get three designs, yarn, and complete step by step directions, as well as, illustrations showing how to do each knot. Get this kit ! Its a great kit that contains quality supplies for a professional appearance when completed.

My daughter was jhuzhing up her house for her wedding and wanted some macrame for a narrow wall. As I was down with a bad back, this was the perfect means for me to help from my recliner! I used a ladder back chair as the frame for my project and for three evenings in a row, I was able to complete one of each of the three patterns. The kit comes with ample cotton cord to complete them. After learning those three designs I was able to take what I had learned, ordered more cording, and completed a very cool lamp shade for a floor lamp.

I purchased as a gift and it arrived rather plain and unimpressive. I will add beads or something else to embellish the kit. But it arrived promptly and in good condition.

Really nice kit, a really lovely gift for anyone who likes crafts. I’ve bought several as gifts already.
