I must say, I’ve been constantly impressed with this little device. The sound quality is better than I expected. It’s not Bose audio quality, but it definitely packs a punch - sound isn’t distorted or weirdly high level trebles or anything like that - just pretty solid. The radio reception is really good, and I’m most impressed with the multiple power sources: plugged in, rechargeable internal battery, or via purchased batteries. The rechargeable battery seems to hold a long charge as well. Re: aesthetics: it looks great and a nice novelty to add to your office or home. Would definitely recommend.

I had read about the volume knob sensitivity issues. But anyway I gave a shot ordering this Radio. I received the 2023 version (printed in the Box) despite the fact that the listing states "New 2024 version". At first look I liked it, Its features, BT connectivity, Speaker, and convenience with the options to be charged and powered. However, I ended up returning it to Amazon since I didn't like the volume sensitivity of the knob. So, 4 stars for the concept, good vintage looking, and features. If you are fine with the volume knob sensitivity, this is a great Vintage Radio for that price point. The seller company offers good service and great communication.

UPDATE!The replacement unit will not charge and the internal battery is deadI gave this a second chance.No longer recommend the product and sellerVery questionable quality with very poor quality control.1. The veneer is peeling on back trim.2. The veneer is bubbled (improperly stretched around the corners) Someone simply did not care about their Job on this one3. The tuning nob is loose to the frequency indicator plate4. The Selector for AM/FM/ ect is VERY flimsy. They used the less expensive parts they could find. Same with other dialLook I get it. This is inexpensive item but if going to use cheap parts at least take the effort to assemble the unit at least so it looks good.:(

The radio worked well enough, but the volume knob went from 0 to too loud. We had to return because the volume couldn't be turned soft enough for easy listening.

I bought this speaker after losing power for a couple of days after an earthquake in the winter. I had no way to charge my previous blue tooth speaker and had wished I had another way to listen to the radio other than in my car. With the ability to recharge in addition to having batteries for when recharging is unavailable, this speaker/radio was exactly what I was looking for. The sound quality is nice for a portable speaker this size, and it’s easy to operate. I wish there was a way to store the extra cords/cables in or on the radio itself, but other than that this is absolutely perfect.
