A very sturdy connector. It was easy to insert and tighten the cables in. It solved my problem of having to be disconnecting the amplifier every time I needed the space in my trunk. The connection is solid and does its job perfectly.

This is a game changer for someone like me that has to constantly install and remove my speaker box due to the line of work I’m in. It’s a very snug fit that inspires confidence with the bumps and bangs of the road and subwoofer. I would highly recommend this for any yesterday running 8AWG or smaller.

I think this seems like a decent product. I imagined something much smaller for some reason, but this larger size might even be better for what i’m trying to do. whatever alloy some of parts of the connectors are made out of looks like a very cheap material, but the important parts like the screws and pins inside all looks like decent brass material. they include a couple hex mounting screws to lock only one size of the connector down. and they include a hex key as well. the plastics seem super solid. i think this would work out well. recommended.

It was a complaint someone else also posted. One of the terminal screws was stuck. Had to repeatedly back it out and tighten to get it loose. I used a ferrule for the wire to fill in the extra space since i couldn't tighten it all the way. Still works good enough for me

It's a pretty simple thing, and it functioned just like I wanted. Wish it was a little cheaper, but I didn't see much out there for quality alternative options.

One of those things you wish you had sooner. I love a decent sound system but also need the space in the back of my old WJ. Especially if I decide to go off-road and camp. Being able to quickly unplug without tools and leave the amp and box at home is a huge plus! I read other reviews and I did not have any issues with the overall quality of the screws or build of the item. Is it bulky? For the wire size needed to accommodate, no, it's perfect. My only gripe is I ran 8g wire and this says it will accommodate 8g, but it does not. I had to strip out some of the actual wire to make it work, but it's solid. Wrapped everything in fabric tape to keep strain off the wires and clean it up and bam, looks great and is as easy to use as plugging in a phone charger. Big fan! Wish I had this in the 90's!

Overall, these are decent connectors. My dislikes are the poor quality casting of the advertised gold-plated connections. It may work just fine with no issues, but it doesn't look pretty, and that can raise concern for longevity of a complete connection. The other issue that I ran into was the extremely tight fit of the male and female plug. I had to take a razor blade and shave off a little around the edges so connectors could be removed without a maximum strength pull and wiggle. By no means are they loose now, but they do disconnect without massive force.
