I bought these originally to help keep the gray squirrels from my bird feeders.I soon started attracting several woodpecker varieties. They prefer this over any suet log I have tried.I now have the small Downy, Red Bellied, Red Headed, with the occasional Yellow Bellied Sapsucker and large Pileated woodpeckers.The squirrels love them as well at times. The only problem is the Raccoon, they are professional thieves and will steal these at night. We have to bring these in every night or they will be gone.

Too hard! Squirrels won't touch them. Either will black birds. I tried to hammer them to break them apart so they would be in pieces and I was not able to break them. I suppose you might be able to if you have a sledgehammer. But the squirrels have always eaten everything from my railing to all my birdfeeder edges and the edges of the squirrel feeder all have naw marks on them. I even laid pieces of corn around them on the ground to give them a hint and nothing will touch those. They are just too hard.

Bought this 6-pack of C&S Sweet Corn Squirrelogs on a whim to entertain the backyard wildlife—and oh boy, it delivered! The squirrels went nuts (pun fully intended). They bickered, danced, and performed what I can only describe as Olympic-level acrobatics to get to these things.Each log lasts longer than loose corn and doesn’t leave as much of a mess, which my broom thanks them for. I took off one star only because now the squirrels stare at me through the window like they pay rent. Highly recommend if you're looking to turn your yard into a front-row nature show!

My squirrels love them so much they keep trying to run off with them. Keeps them fed and busy. Great product for the price.

Our squirrels going nuts for these. We have a little tractor with two smoke stacks on it and we put one on the smokestack and love them. It’s funny to watch them. Do the splits to eat these easy to use just the right size and the quality is good
