Replacement
Replacement part for round MAGMA boat bbq. This "low flow" type 1 should be replacement for all round kettle style MAGMA grills. Old one was corroded and leaked. This one appears to be an exact replacement and works perfectly.

3 things you need to know.
1) These are proprietary. If you need to connect to a Magma grill, you need a Magma regulator. 2) These do not use O-Rings. Ignore the review that says “It didn’t come with O-Rings.” 3) These things are great. I love using my Magma grill on my boat. I got a replacement because mine fell overboard. They do not lock into place, rather, they index and slide in. This means that they can fall out if allowed to index back to the installation/ removal position.

Direct replacement for or Magma Grill
Our original valve broke. This was a direct replacement and worked perfectly, as expected. Color is pretty as well.

PAIN IN BUTT
SENT FIRST ONE BACK, THIS ONE ALMOST AS BAD. WHEN YOU TURN TO OFF THE TOP AREA IS SUPPOSED TO POP UP AND TURN OFF GAS. HAVE TO GRAB AND FORCE UP. THIS GRILL GOES BAD, GETTING A KUMA LIKE WE HAD ON OUR OTHER BOAT. NO WORRIES THERE.

The regulator comes out pretty easy when you are adjusting the grill position
They don't float. If you use your grill with it hanging over the side rail of your boat, it is only a matter of time before this d@mn thing will fall off. The regulator comes out pretty easy when you are adjusting the grill position. Better find a way to tether it to something, or you'll be buying these often. Works great and I like the design much better than the one on my previous marine grill. It is clearly marked. My old one, you never knew if you were on high or low or what.

Works great
This low flow valve puts out plenty of heat to cook with. Even in windy conditions it has not blown out. Since this is low flow it takes a bit longer before I can hit the igniter to start the flame.

Bought this to replace the regulator on our Magma marking BBQ. The one that came with the BBQ never seemed to work well. The heat control was very inconsistent. This seems much better and has worked very well for us.
