Melissa & Doug Peel & Press Sticker by Number - Butterfly

Loved this!!! I picked this up for my busy daughter who is 5. She wasn’t into it the first time I pulled it out about 4 months ago. Now she is 2 months shy of her 6th bday and she was able to do this project with my help! I actually enjoyed it too!! Relaxing. We did this in 3 sittings. The last sitting we did the most as it was fun to try and finish it. It’s beautiful and fun to run your hand across it When you’re done and feel the bumpy stickers!! The stickers stay in place. I’m going to order another one, a different scape!!!

We gave this to our daughter for her 7th birthday. She has been putting it together over the course of a week. She is really enjoying it and I like that it is something she can pick up and set back down and come back to it later. A great product and the end result is beautiful and a great thing for her to hang in her bedroom. I didn't even have to explain to her how to do it. Easy for her age group to figure out. I will be on the look out for other designs of this! Thanks for a great product.

This is a very pretty mosaic design. I was happy to find it after my 8 year old daughter finished another mosaic project. She is having fun putting it together. It can be challenging with some of the smaller pieces, but that is ok. I would rather it be a bit challenging vs something she puts together in 5 minutes. It comes with a nice color guide that you place the mosaics over so you know where they go. Melissa and Doug make great products. The price was reasonable and it arrived quickly.

While this project does not stimulate creativity since the child must follow the directions exactly, it is a pleasant way to spend time, particularly when one must be quiet-on airplane, waiting in doctor's office, etc. Essentially it is an updated version of Paint By Numbers. Instead of painting you put beautiful sparkly stickers in the correct numbered spaces. Surely familiarity with numbers, plus eye-hand coordination and fine motor coordination are strengthened. The finished produce is very beautifulThe only negative we found was that some of the stickers separated from their sticky backing and had to be glued to the butterfly. I dont know if it is a flaw in all kits or if the one we orders was old and sitting around too long. While the glue worked well, the disappointment as frustrating at first.This project is for children 7+ years old.

My daughter just turned 5, and whereas this might be a little overwhelming for her to do alone, it was a great project for us to do together - and we got great bonding time out of it as a bonus! It's laid out in a very easy to follow format, and she instantly felt like she was creating a beautiful piece of art. If she happened to push a sticker on crooked, they were able to be repositioned without losing all their stickiness. Over all, very happy with this, and will probably purchase another one in the future.

This product is very high quality but the age range is not quite right. The other Melissa and Doug products are a good puzzle and entertain kids as young as 6, this one takes a long time and is probably better for older kids.

I really like that there is a guide to which sticker is which number! My 5 year old was able to look at this and tackle it herself. She has enjoyed putting it together! Online how sturdy the board is. I'm not overjoyed with finding some of the stickers randomly around the house after falling off the sticker sheets, but it's been a great activity during the pandemic! Would definitely recommend and gift to others.
