Has great reviews
I spent the extra money for a quality pump and this was a huge disappointment. It did work as advertised and I sure did like it, but it made it just over a year and it quit. It no longer works at all and I'm having to replace it. I use these a lot. We spray farm chemicals with them weekly. We do take good care of them but we do use them a lot. I expected this pump to last for at the least several years for the price, but it only lasted about a year. I can buy cheaap pumps with the same GPM and pressure for 1/3 the cost and they last longer. I do not believe I got a good value for my money.

Total Junk!
Purchased this and did everything possible to use it as a soft wash pump. I can only use long range tips, not fan tips. The stream when first purchased was pulsating. It's suggested to turn the psi screw. This was adjusted and it worked fine for about 45 minutes, then nothing. I have used a 12v group 24 battery, that sucked. I used a 16.7 12v waterproof charger, it was a bit better. The pump stopped working in the middle of my job and I noticed the pump would not kick on. I checked the pressure switch and it was faulty plus I noticed a crack in the plastic housing, complete junk. The power switch is supposed to push out when the pump lacks the correct pressure and then push in to stop pump when pump is not in use or has adequate pressure. The switch is not closing the circuit. After releasing pressure it takes 10 sec to kick on, so a faulty switch too. The screw can't be turned any tighter for pump operation frequency without striping or falling into the housing. The whole power switch and housing for turning the pump on and off seem like complete plastic junk.

This pump is backed by a great manucaturer!
My previous review was not rosy because the new pump failed to start! Unfortunately Amazon return timeline expired already! Fortunately the manufacturer in Minnesota “Valley Industries” was incredibly kind. Thank you Mary! They sent me a new pump in 2 days because the pump was still under warranty. So have no fear the folks at Vally industries will be there for you.

Lasted about 14 months
I used the pump about once a week for the last 14 months, spraying about 80 gallons of water each time. The pump is fairly quiet, easy to use, and provided great pressure for what I needed. Last week, the pressure switch broke which caused the pump to continuously run and a build up pressure in the line. Everflo sells replacement pump head kits for $60, and other companies sell replacement pressure switches, but we opted to purchase a brand new pump and keep the old one for spare parts.

Dud
Well I usually order ahead of time to keep a spare in my truck. When I got it I found it to be pretty dirty but I didn’t think much of it. I went to install it yesterday and it had a crack at the fitting connection and my heart sank because I realized I was passed the return window. Not sure why I was sent a dud but I’ll never order through this source again if this is the type of quality control they have.

Damaged
Have used these pumps before and are a great product. This one however, arrived damaged as if someone had returned it after breaking it and then got shipped to me. Check your pump out when you get it.

This is the second everflo pump I have purchased, the first pump lasted a couple years of light use, there are much cheaper pumps but I stuck with what I knew. With the new pump I only used it a couple short times and noticed a lot of leakage from the head. Unlucky for me I missed the product return window. If I used the pump regularly I would have noticed the leak and sent it back earlier. I have attached a photo of the leak. The head screws are tight. I hope this helps.

The Pump arrived 7 days early so ***** to the supplier and Amazon. The pump is quieter than i imagined it would be so that is a huge plus

This is a fairly noisy easy to install but low quality 12 volt pump. The pressure drop sensing unit is so inaccurate and takes almost down to 20 PSI before it kicks in. Would not recommend it at all. It's too bad the return window was so short. Most of the Amazon seems a bit longer but this one only had a month return limit. If I was able to return it it would be going back now it'll sit on the cell phone collect dust till whenever I throw it out

This pump has been fantastic for my softwashing setup. It handles chemicals with no issues, which is crucial for my work. I replace it annually due to the wear from chemicals, but for the value it brings to my company, it’s well worth it. The 5.5 GPM flow is perfect for my needs, and the 1/2” FNPT connection makes it easy to integrate into my system. Would be a great choice for anyone in the softwashing or similar industries. It’s a reliable and affordable option that gets the job done!
