So far this has been a big hit with my wife! Light is very bright especially for a closed system as even a large purse. My wife has told me she is already to the point of buying one for several different people as Birthday or Christmas gifts - would make a perfect stocking stuffer for example. Light turns on easily - perhaps too easily. And that's my only concern with this really cool idea - will it be on a lot when a woman is just walking around, etc? But we won't know that for a month or more. I personally think this is a very neat and unique idea. I have read several reviews who said the clip didn't work properly or wasn't strong enough but so far that has been the case for my wife. The price is cheap enough that if it lasts a year it's a good deal. After waiting a month or so I will amend this review if necessary (to make sure the battery will last). I will probably be buying 12 more or so as Christmas presents! This is one of these items that you didn't know you needed until you have one! I would rate this very unique and simple idea a very high 9.25 to 9.75 out of 10 - highly recommended!! ********************Just a small update - it's been longer than six months and my daughter & wife tell me this is still working great!

I typically don’t write reviews on products, but this item really deserves one. As a person who is always scrambling through her purse all the time, I get completely frustrated when I’m trying to look for something specific and it’s worse in the dark to find what I’m looking for. Not only is this purse light completely adorable, it does exactly what the item description says. A plus is that it stays on a few seconds that gives you time to locate a few things that you need. I’m very happy with this product as it makes my life so much easier to find what I’m looking for in my purse. Highly recommend!!

I have many purses that are black inside which makes it very difficult to find/see things even in the smallest of bags. I came across this light and thought I would give it a try. So far it works exactly as described. Motion sensor turns it on. It stays on for about 15 seconds then shuts off automatically. The light is bright and I can actually see what is in my purse all the way to the bottom. I can even see what is in the interior pockets. The sensor is quick to react when I put my hand in my purse but not so sensitive that every movement sets it off. It has a clip on the back and also comes with a little string for hanging. The clip is pretty tight but I would rather that then too loose. I have only been using it for a few days so I can not comment yet as to how long it will last. If you are frustrated digging thru your purse this is a must try.

I bought this on a whim and have not once regretted the purchase! It’s more useful than I thought it would be. The light is bright enough to illuminate the space inside my purse but not too bright that it would be distracting, say in a movie theater. It came with extra batteries and worked right away. Definitely would purchase again. Maybe it could come in different colors; that would be my only suggestion because I would love to have one in pink!

Sister got a black purse for Christmas, but it was difficult to find what she needed because it was so dark inside. Since her birthday was soon after Christmas, I got her one of these! She loves loves loves it! Comes on when she opens purse. Then goes off when she closes it! Cool lil gadget!

Bought May 21. Light is already very dim. Clip is too hard to attach in my purse. Having to replace batteries almost as much as the light itself. AND, the clip is too hard to fix to anything inside my purse, it won’t open AT ALL. Will be looking for another option Update. Bought new batteries, not the problem. This item seems to be used, as the batteries that came with it are very scratched. The return window was June 20 of course, so that was a total waste of money.

This Purse Light Handbag Light is so awesome. Both my wife and I were very impressed with how bright it gets, and it is motion activated! I bought it for her last Christmas as a stocking stuffer, and Im pretty sure, its her favorite gift out of everything and it was $10!!!!! If you have problems finding keys, phone, wallet, lipstick, blush, condoms, what ever in the bottom of your purse, DAY OR NIGHT, this Purse Light Handbag Light is for you!

I bought it in Aug 2023. It's Mar 2024 and I thought the battery was dead, but I already put 2 different new batteries and it's not working. I put the battery alove in there, without the little "door" and it works, but once you attach it to the closing mechanism and put it in, it does not, so it's a construction issue. Buy a cheaper one.

I never thought such a tiny thing would bring me so much joy… It does the job but the clamp is a little too stiff… it probably wouldn’t hold on too something too thick.
