Q: What country are these made in?

I have the original packaging and there is no information about the country in which these straws were made. They seem to be of high quality, however.

Q: Will these straws fit the 20oz. yeti tumbler or are they too long for them?

Seem a little too short for me in the Yeti 20 oz. Barley enough if it sits just right. And these are more narrow than a regular drinking straw.

Q: Can you taste a metal taste when using these straws?

I've been using mine everyday at work 8 hours a day and I've been using the same straw. Just cleaning it with the cleaner provided and warm dis soap. Mine absolutely tastes metallic. For the record I drink water 100% of the time so any foreign tatse is very distinguishable.

Q: can these be put through the dishwasher?

Never tried it. But, I was told that it can be put through the dishwasher. However, I doubt the insides will get cleaned. The opening is too narrow.
