Q: My concern is if the cat crosses the wire, how will it come back? Cat will get a shock again if she tries to reentry back? Any idea?

I've been using this fence for two years and it works great! If you think your cat has gotten out of the boundary, just unplug the unit so he won't get a shock when he comes back in.

The small probes that are in contact with the cats skin that does the shocking will irritate the skin from the constant rubbing. By limiting use to 12 hrs you give the skin and fur a break.
