Excellent sound amplifier
I had my doubts when I ordered these amplifiers, but since wearing them for a while now, I am more than satisfied. They fit very comfortably in the ears and the sound quality is good - though you must keep in mind that they amplify all sounds, including surrounding sounds. They do, however, have a noise reduction feature on them that is actually pretty good. You never really have to turn them off or on as they fit into their charger either way. The charger is lightweight and unobtrusive and carries its own charge so you don't always have to rely on the mains to charge the earpieces. The volume level is quite good to my mind. I have one NHS-supplied hearing aid, and while it does amplify higher tones for me, nothing else is amplified. In that respect these are a Godsend. In summary, I would highly recommend to those who would like to hear their wife's lovely voice again without her having to shout.

Helps me hear a tad bit more...
While the comfort is there, it takes a while for the annoying whistle sound to go away, once the whistling stops they do work as a hearing aid should but seem to only pick up people talking unlike nhs hearing aids that pick up everything. So if you're just needing help to hear a person talk then these are for you if its everything like watching telly, hearing for a knock/door bell ect then perhaps NHS hearing aids will be more beneficial for you. On the plus side they feel comfortable as if im wearing earphones

Short lived
A life changer when they work! Worked fine without any problems for the 1st few weeks but now one has decided to just refuse to turn on at all. When charging now they whistle and annoy the other people living in my house greatly. I turn them off and it stops but a short while later they have turned themselves back to to whistle non stop. This does at least only happen while charging so no charging during the night! When they first arrived, they took a little while to get used to wearing but are comfy and I honestly forget I'm wearing them! They have made my life so much easier at work and I can interact with customers alot easier than before. I am disappointed at how quickly they have given up though. I know they are cheap compared to a real hearing aid but for me ( and alot of others I'd imagine) they were the best i could afford and am annoyed they havnt lasted longer. I may just be unlucky with a faulty pair but just something to be aware of.Edit: a couple of weeks after leaving the about review, the other one just gave up working all together. I'm annoyed that after paying this price, they have died so quickly and I'm unable to get a refund or exchange the item as at the time of the 1st part of this review I was just out of my return peroid so now I'm stuck with two 'hearing aids' that do nothing but sit in a draw while I struggle.

Better than more expensive products
I now use the TKing product in preference to a much more expensive set which cost in excess of£1000. The aids can be individually set to the ultimate requirement for each ear and I find the softear domes, (supplied in different sizes) both comfortable and easy to fit. The aid holder allows for recharging away from a mains supply and is ideal for travelling. I find that my aids work for over 13 hourson a single full charge. The amplification is very good without distortion and sound reproduction very good.I would recommend these without hesitation. R J
