Good value, Not very dimmable, lots of flickering when low

Theyvwork and are indeed dimmable

The lights are good and work well, however, you do need a proper dimmer switch for these to work properly. I installed on a standard cheap dimmer switch and found they started flickering quite badly. The flicker isn't a high frequency, but a slow pulsing of the light a few times a second and quite annoying. I was going to return and leave a 1 star review as some others have done, but I did read that for LED lights, it's sometimes helpful to buy a proper dimmer switch that is designed for the LED lights. It was annoying to buy as they are a bit pricier, but after fitting these lights now work perfectly. I've given 4 stars, as although they now work, it would be nice for them to highlight this can be an issue, and that a proper dimmer (or LED adapter) may still be needed.

When used with a Belns Melns dimmer switch, ASIN B0BKZMSWQ5, there was no noise from the dimmer switch, no flicker from the bulbs and almost the entire rotational range of the dimmer knobs changed brightness (as opposed to rotation through top and bottom of the range not changing brightness)

Awful! At "full" all corners of my room is dark. You try dim it..it jumps down, then bright, then off. Honestly. Abismal

These work well within a certain power range but they don’t dim right down, they just go off suddenly on a low setting; & they start to flash after a while if the dimmer is turned right up full. I’ve tried them in 2 lights with 2 different dimmer-switches so it’s not the switches. They’re fine as bulbs. They weren’t expensive but hardware stores have these now, & prices are going down; so I’d be tempted in future to buy locally in a shop & get a known brand…..

Perfect fit for bayonet type bulb holder and almost exact size of the old 100 watt bulb. This is the low energy equivalent of a 100 watt bulb but gives out a daylight bright light as opposed to the warm white of the old style bulbs. We got used to the brightness after a day or two. It is dimmable but remains very bright when dimmed as its giving out "daylight"

Love these they are bright when needed but also dim too too , easy application, good flicker and fab quality and the fit was spot on
