I filled it with butane and used it one time and then when I went to use a few days later it was empty. It appears to be leaking butane. It says I can return it online but that is now a combustible item being shipped I don’t feel comfortable with doing so. I guess this was just wasted money for me.

I was doing a lot of cooking recently due to COVID, so looking for a torched gun for dishes like creme brulee, torch sushi and torched pork belly.This torch works great for me and fullfilled all my needs. It's a good quality torch with good pricing, easy to use, strong and powerful flame, light in weight, right size to grab. It's the first time I use a torch and it is very straight forward, do not even need to read instructions, first fill with butane, when use just press bottom and lock it. It came with a little bag you can store the torch. Just a remind, there's no butane in the package, so you would have to order your own to fuel it. Besides, we don't have a lighter at home, it helps with light up candles too, don't have to look one for every birthday, lol.This is a great quality torch with reasonable pricing, easy to use and does the job, recommend.

This is a nice little butane torch. Note that butane canisters are not included; buy one from your local hardware store as the ones on Amazon are all tiny.Pros:- Handheld, compact size.- Easily refillable. Just tilt upside-down and push the canister in until full.- Has an 'always on' feature for ease of use.- Adjustable flame size allows quite a large flame.Cons:- Button construction is slightly cheap; has a built-in lock but it is not very sturdy. To overcome this, set the flame slider to the minimum in order to prevent accidental lighting.- Occasional flame sputtering, especially after refilling. Usually resolves after regular use.Overall, is a convenient and inexpensive little kitchen torch. It's very nice to be able to finally caramelize those desserts though. Finishing an oven-baked pizza with the torch makes an indescribably delicious crust. If you're relatively new to the cooking game and looking for ways to level up your baking, this handy tool might be the answer.

I started taking more interest in cooking recently. Some of the recipes I was looking at need a culinary torch. Also, I just thought having a culinary torch in general would be cool. I was looking around here for one and found this. At the price I decided to give this a go and ordered it.The box that it came in was a bit squished but I think it was because of shipping but not a huge issue. Inside the box was only the culinary torch. It looked really nice and had a good weight to it as well. The material looked sturdy. The torch fits nicely in your hand. I was a bit annoyed that you do have to get your own butane but I found a can of it at my local Canadian tire. I would advise you to pick the right nozzle size as I bought a can and had to return it as the nozzle was too big to fit into the fueling hole for the culinary torch. After fueling it up all I had to do was turn the dial at the back in the direction it says open and push down and the torch is activated. It is quite simple. I also like how there is a little switch that can increase or decrease the intensity of the flame.Overall, I am quite happy with this. The price is reasonable and a little bit of butane lasts for quite a while which is nice. I have not used it on too many things as of yet but I have made s'mores! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a culinary torch.

I can’t believe that I have suffered so long with that junky gas station torch. This one is like a brand new Cadillac. Works great to debubble my acrylic resin.
