Worked well for 05 Passat Will have to find an acc wire
Harness plugged in easily. VW keeps both the yellow and red acc wire hot the entire time. Not sure why maybe due to vw using the can network bus, typical Germans making something more complicated that it needs to be. Found an accessory switched 12vdc wire in one of the fan/ac harness below the radio. Tapped into that and radio now turns off and on with ignition

Wires mapped correctly to VW harness. Power and speaker wire gauge is too small; works, but should really match the original wire thickness. Instructions were provided, but were vague.Included antenna adapter fit, but should have been an amplified cable as required to work with a VW, so basically useless.
