My Bose radio has a CD player and the CD’s were skipping when I tried to play them. This worked great to clean the CD player!

worked great got rid of all the skipping and a lot of the problems that I thought was the CD being scratched and old. system sound great again.

My DVD player would not play . Multiple skips and other impediments. I was ready to buy a new one but decided to buy this cleaner as a last resort. I followed the instructions for this cleaner and it now runs perfectly . Many thanks for saving me the expense of buying a new one.

I got this for one reason - to clean the lens in my car's CD player. Following the directions exactly, I put it in the slot only to be told it was defective. So I tried again to see what would happen. The second time I was told to insert a CD (huh?). So I tried a third time. That time it worked. Well, that was fun! There are something like 6 musical tracks and presumably by the time the 6th one has played, the cleaning cycle is over. By the way, some of those musical tracks are really bad - as in horrific! After the 6th track played, I expected it to quit and possibly eject. It did neither. It went back to Track one. And, since it had been a while since the player had been cleaned, I thought it might need a second run-through. But a third? Then a 4th! After Track 3 on the 5th run-through, I hit Stop and ejected it. Enough already! Then, I cleaned a couple of CDs which I thought I would play on my way to work during morning rush hour the next day. I was really enthused about playing some tunes and not having to listen to drop out and skipping. The first couple of tracks played fine, then the drop out began, and the skipping. It hadn't done a thing apparently. Or maybe I need to stick it back in the player and let it run for another 90 minutes or so. When I have time, I will. But for now, let's just say I can't really recommend this product because it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. If it did, the CDs would play correctly. At this point I can only say, I'm glad it wasn't more expensive. It may work for some people, and I'm willing to give it another shot or two, but I'm not overly optimistic. Time will tell.

When I wrote to Arsvita to report problems with the CD Cleaning Set they sent me, they responded with this statement:Based on your description, it seems that your player may not be compatible with the cleaning disc program.What brand is your CD player? Please note that our cleaning kit may not be compatible with gaming systems like Xbox/Wii, Bose CD/DVD players, and Blu-ray CD/DVD players.So, be forewarned. I expected better.

We love music and love to have all the media's to listen to. We added a cd player to our system that we picked up for cheap at our local Goodwill. Got home, plugged it in, threw in a cd but were disappointed when it skipped. Bummer, but before we hauled it back down to return it, we thought we'd give the cd cleaners from our past a shot. Ordered the Arsvita Laser Lens Cleaner Disc Cleaning Set for CD/VCD/DVD Player, popped it in and voila cd player is working again! Love that it was so simple. Absolutely would recommend this product for anyone looking for..... this product!
