There was a lot of negative reviews, and I never used this version ,only the original yellow stuff, so I was skeptical at the least, just received the product, and just used the product, it smells exactly the same as the Yellow Version, it's just white instead of yellow, it works exactly the same just as good as the original, I don't know why there's so many negative complaints, the jars are not sealed with plastic barriers so they do put them in an extra bag, and I had to wash the jar off and basically tighten the lid because it was loose, besides that the product is Flawless as always, perfect for people that want a certain style that the hair doesn't do, I could really care less what color this product is as long as it goes on clear, like I said before I don't know why so many people complained about this product besides maybe receiving damaged products in the shipping, maybe some people are just never satisfied no matter how good a product is, I've been searching for styling gel that actually has an extreme hold like many a mention but don't actually hold nothing, but this stuff will hold your hair down even if you're being launched into outer space. Have you people should stop complaining so much, complaining about a product that works perfectly fine like it always has.

I have coarse, curly, short hair. This gel allows me to blow my hair into a somewhat straighter style and keep its shape until the next washing. If the style is too sleek for my liking, I can put a bit more of the gel on my hands and sculpt a more carefree look. I recommend this product. It is a great value and a little goes a long way.

I normally use Johnny B DOPE as my hair product but needed something urgently so decided to try this. It’s fantastic! Holds all day and washes out quickly with just a water. You can also wet your comb and touch up your hair and it will still hold. Has a pleasant, fruity scent as well and the jar comes with a ton of product for the price. Will get more when I run out and highly recommend.
