Hi there, Thank you for your question. We would have to disagree here. There is no evidence to make a blanket statement that Ethiopian Black Seed Oil has the highest Thymoquinone. The only way to make that statement is to do sample testing from different regions under standardized HPLC testing, and we are pretty sure no one has done that, because we looked for it for months. High quality and strong black seed oil, depends on a few things 1) How it is grown - ie is it organic, grown under optimum conditions 2) How it is processed - ie is it cold pressed, to maintain the volatile content and is it refined / unrefined 3) How it is stored 4) How is it tested There are other factors, but these are the main ones. We have tested oils from many different countries and suppliers, what we are looking for is consistency in quality and strength (proven by actual HPLC testing reports), and that is how we settled on our current suppliers and farmers. If there are other suppliers claiming higher Thymoquinone, then they should be able to provide seed batch testing reports and also prove that they have followed the other steps I have mentioned above. Our seeds are from Middle East, the best quality black seed oil is from Middle East (ie Israel, Egypt etc) and South East Asia, because the weather is perfect for growing high quality potent Black Seed / Nigella Sativa. The seeds are Non GMO. We are organically certified by Soil Association and one of the requirements for organic certification, is that the seeds / oil should be Non GMO.
