Q: States it is a 21 oz water bottle, I purchased one , mine only holds 16 oz, am I missing something?

I just checked mine. Using a kitchen measuring cup, I was able to add 21 ounces of water. The bottom of my water bottle says “21 OZ 620ml.” Does yours indicate the same?

Q: What is the diameter of the bottom? i'm trying to figure out if it will fit in the elite 0061698 custom race skin water bottle cage.

In addition to my podium bottle, I have a regular tall Camelbak water bottle. The podium bottle is slightly thinner than the regular bottle. However, it is about an inch taller. On one of my bikes, the podium bottle won't fit into the seat-tube bottle holder because it is too tall. By the way, the location of the indentation on the podium bottle is at the same location as the regular one. So, the bottle will fit any bottle cage; using it depends on cage clearance determined by the cage mount.

Q: Has anyone had a side by side comparison between this and the standard podium insulated water bottle? Does it actually keep the water colder?

Very unscientific comparison but we have found the podium ice is definitely cooler than the standard camelback water bottle. It's worth it to us.
