You can buy parts for it. Search for Sur-ron, it's the same bike as this. Places like Luna Cycles sells parts. The only difference is the segway version does come with an app to control some settings but 99% of the parts are the same as the sur-ron.

Q: how long does the battery last after a full charg? how long does the bike run for (miles) ?

Depends on how fast you ride. All out you will probably get 16-20 miles. In the EP mode you would get over 30 miles.

Q: Can this be upgraded to reach speeds of 70 mph?

You can buy a direct replacement battery from Litespeed Batteries. I bought the upgraded 72v system and the bike is now an absolute monster. Scary amount of power and effortless wheelies at 50mph (with the upgraded high performance battery and ASI BAC 8000) Litespeed also uses some of the best cells on the market.
