It feels a bit cheap, and was priced accordingly, but I've had it in my crowded drawer for over a year, and it's still in one piece! It comes in handy quite a bit, I'm happy with my purchase. It is 12".

The cross piece was really hard to get onto the long part, and doesn’t go fully on. It feels like it will break when you try to push it on. Disappointing. And now I have two of them.
