I use these for wiring a trailer or even something on my SxS or the QUAD and this time I used it on my truck when I was installing extra lighting and I ran a 4 flat plug from my trucks trailer connection on the back to the box. On most trucks that have a console screen, you may have a app for trailers. By running the extra lights through this box and to the connection on the back, my truck thinks that there's a trailer on and everything works well. This is hooked to the 7 pin plug in and not to lose my lights when I am actually towing a trailer, I have a 7 pin "Y" connector and now I can tell the truck that we changed trailers and everything still works. Sounds confusing but it really isn't. I will buy this product again as I mentioned. The 1 thing I will say is that when I am done and everything checks out good, I get a tube of silicone and seal the box completely. When I do this, I won't ever need to reopen the box and this will keep moisture out of the box.

Really makes wiring a trailer easier, but keep in mind they do leak. either drill a small hole in the bottom or cover everthing with grease or both.

Product is extremely easy, and durable. All is easily identifiable and clear with hardware. We use these boxes quite often, this is our go to choice.

I installed Electric Brakes on my Utility Trailer for hauling heavy ATV's and needed to convert my previously equipped 4 way plug to a 7 way plug. This Junction Box installed perfectly to the frame underneath the bed and provided a great spot, ideal box for connecting the new 7 way harness into the existing 4 way and new brake wire. Appreciated the available options the box contains, this gives you some flexibility when determining where to install the box and position vs. existing cord length while simultaneously trying to secure and hide from both the elements and possible road hazards. Two months later, 2,200 miles (included ATV hauling to black hills) and still solid as a rock. Great product for me. FYI the pieces will be in the box but when you first open will potentially be scattered, no worries they are all in there, she will look pretty when you are all done :)...

Very cheap flimsy plastic. Plugs are brittle as well. Will be covering it with rubber so a rock does not smash it
