Solid scrapper - used to remove stickers on glass

This is a handy product - light and compact. The ceramic blade is effective and seems well suited to delicate surfaces that a metal blade would, more easily, damage. It is pricey at its retail price, less so at the £10 or so that I paid. I would just like to clear up some confusion in some other comments. It DOES LOCK IN POSITION. Anyone reviewing and stating otherwise either has a faulty example or is an imbecile - you do not have to hold the button - it locks and you can scrape away to your heart's content.

Bought this to clean oven glass rather than use a stanley type blade. Abso lute waste of time and at it £18 is very over priced.Blade dosent lock so you have your finger on the small and uncomfortable button. Dont waste ya money.

I get it, you have to hold the button down to use it, and the button sits in a dip so you're not fighting it, but as soon as you let go the blade is gone and that was unexpected (auto, I get it now). Didn't mark white tiles. Comfy to hold. Basically okay.

Like another reviewer found the blade does NOT lock into place. I opened it to check the mechanism and can see no way for it to lock, as the spring just pushes it out of place - there is no 'lock'. Badly designed imo. Gives your hand cramp to hold it in place. Also the blade isn't completely flat. The ends hit the surface not the middle. It does this on any surface I tried, ie hob, oven door glass, worktop. So is definitely the blade. I would NOT recommend this particular item.

Bought the scraper as I'm a keen amateur DIYer. I can honestly say, it's the best thing I've ever bought!! The price reflects the quality, durability and performance of this product. The ceramic blade is virtually indestructible and is perfect for cleaning up dried on spots of paint, grime, limescale, caulk, silicone filler etc. I keep it in my handbag!!

A gentle scraper not as sharp as a metal blade.

Schön und gut - ein Schaber halt. Teuer - und deswegen gut ? Nicht ! Das Problem bei dem Teil ist, daß der Anschliff extrem kurz ist, und damit der von Hand nutzbare Arbeitsbereich zwischen 'rumschaben' und 'Glas ritzen' sehr heikel. Das habe ich mit einem 3.50 Euro - Baumarktspachtel mit Edelstahlklinge (ungeschliffen) besser hingekriegt, und das Ceranfeld hat es auch nicht weiter gekratzt, nur das Angebrannte darauf. Der Spachtel, über ein Schleifband gezogen und scharf gemacht, ist um Längen besser als diese ganzen Ceranfeldschaber (... *mit 10 auswechselbaren Klingen*), weil man die Klingen nicht braucht, sondern nachschleifen kann. Rostet nicht, und schmilzt auch nicht gleich auf dem heißen Herd zusammen, weil die Klinge lang genug ist. Auffällig bei dem Artikel ist auch die Sprache und Anzahl der Rezensionen - wenn ich sowas verkaufen wollte müßten alle meine Mitarbeiter natürlich rezensieren ... Nää - taugt nix. Geht zurück. Die 21 Euro sind rausgeschmissen.

Maybe I don’t understand what other reviewers mean by the blade not locking open or maybe I got a newer variant but I have no problems leaving the blade in an extended position when using it (as you can see in the photo) or retracted position when I store it. Almost did not purchase this because of those reviews. I have been using mine daily to scrape my 3d printer’s build plates for a few months now. Zero issues. Highly recommended.

I’m a fan of Slice and already use another one of their tools that’s been excellent. This scraper had the same clean, functional design I expected — compact, sharp (but safe), and well-suited for detailed tasks around the home. Unfortunately, the one I received arrived damaged and had to be returned. I haven’t reordered it yet, but the overall concept and feel still seem promising. Not easy to use. The size is too small and the blade will not lock. You have to hold the button down to keep the blade out. I found that to be too hard to do for more than a few seconds.

I didn’t realize the auto retract feature was a thing on this model. So that is a bit annoying as it auto retracts the blade and you have to keep it pushed down to use the blade.
