Fantastic product. Works perfectly with Bimmercode and Bimmerlink. Easy to use. Very good connection quality. Used a lot of the time for coding BMW cars.

In conjunction with the proper apps, this provides me the opportunity to code and monitor my vehicle myself using my own phone and it works exactly as intended.

This used with bimmer link and bimmer code is probably what I would say is second best to ISTA. No disconnects, No issues setting up and pretty straight forward. I have managed to code things I thought wouldnt be possible on my X5

Is it expensive? Yes. But does it do the job well? Yes. I'd say 30% of the time, Bimmercode fails to connect initially, probably due to the ODBLink CX being left in all the time. But always connects second time if not the first, and does the job well.

I purchased this OBD Reader for my son's 118d BMW and used it with Bimmercode as well as the software that came with the reader. I have now used it with 4 or 5 different software packages, which shows great compatibility. The Connection speed is quick, and there is a wealth of information available online on how to use it with different packages. It is great value for money as I have even used it to clear fault codes on my Citreon Dispatch 2021. The reader comes packaged well for protection and feels of great quality in your hand. We have now been using it for a few months

Done exactly as described, a little on the slow side when scanning but overall does the job well.

The product comes with a free obdlink software that allows you to create gauges to monitor your car. It’s very versatile. Connection to the obdlink cx is easy and quick. To code your car, you will need the BimmerCode(paid version). The free version only allows u to read, but not amend the code. Coding is quite simple. It auto creates backup for u. For Mini Cooper, can disable active sound, enable sports mode on engine start, disable auto start stop, enable air con circulation to last use memory & auto fold side mirrors on key lock and comfort access(pressing the lock button on door handle for 2secs). And so much more
