If I had to guess, as long as the i5-4440 is a LGA 1150 socket type, then yes. Most, if not all, CPU's that have a common socket type as the motherboard in question will work just fine, so don't worry. However, my advice is to get the newer version (according to newegg) the i5-4460. according to this site ( http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4460-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4440 ) the 4460 is slightly better in preformance to price ratio and on amazon (as of typing this) the i5 4460 is $2 cheaper. Not to dissuade anyone from buying the i5-4440, but as a person who built his own computer on a budget the 4460 is probably a better choice for getting the most out of your budget. go with whatever is cheaper at the time you commit to buying a CPU.
