Keeps my laptop cool!
I like how easy this is to use and adjust to the perfect angle. The fan is quiet, and very effective (my laptop doesn't even feel warm when I am finished with it). The padding is just enough that I don't feel the hard surface of the lap desk or computer, but not so puffy that it is unstable. The mouse pad is a definite plus for me; it's nice to have the option. Another positive is the light weight makes it easy to lift up and set aside if I need to get up and come back to my work.

As good as it gets
I have a 2021 12.9” iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard which is perfect for writing on a desk and my lap; in fact, I prefer it to my MacBook Pro. But it’s no good when I spend a couple of hours a night reading and writing in bed. The Magic Keyboard isn’t that stable in bed and, because the keyboard angle cannot be adjusted, it makes it difficult to type and to see the screen properly.I spent a long time examining dozens of laptop stands before settling on this. I could not find one product that offered all the features this has. Sure, it cost more than I would have liked, but it has become essential to my work, so it’s worth it.It has, for me, the best of all worlds: It’s well designed and made, as well as sturdy. It can incline the keyboard up to a 30-degree angle which makes typing and viewing the screen ideal. It has plenty of padding underneath which makes it comfortable to use for hours, and it has some bonus features — a USB-powered fan (I don’t need this for the iPad, but it will appeal to laptop users) and a side tray for a mouse or other items. My only issue is the size. It’s pretty bulky when you set it up, but that’s because of the thick padding and the steep incline. It's also probably heavier than other stands, but that's understandable considering the extra features, such as the fan and the mouse pad. One other bonus, you can detach the padding if you want to use the stand on a desk.I may not use all of those features, but it suits my needs perfectly.Bottom line: If I need to buy another laptop stand, I'll choose this.

Very good laptop pad
Overall a great laptop pad. No issues and the fan does a good job of keeping my gaming laptop cool. Only downside is that the mousepad isn’t retractable, but it’s still quit easy to set up.

No more neck and back pain!
No more neck pain! No more poor posture working beyond my desk! No more overheating from my laptop being directly in my lap. I haven’t tried the fan yet as I needed an adapter for my MacBook Pro.Easy set up. Good computer support. Nice vision, not too bulky. There are many lap desks from which to choose. I’m happy I chose this. You will be too.

GREAT lap desk for laptops!
I bought this to use sitting on the couch with my laptop. I have an arm injury and needed something ergonomically aligned to help with my healing. This lap desk is great. It is very sturdy. I love that it has a rubbery silicone piece on the bottom edge to keep the laptop from sliding down, without damaging or scratching the laptop. The mouse trackpad can be attached to either the left or right sides, and it snaps back into storage within the inside of the desk. The desk itself opens up for storage. You can also attached the cooling fan for overheating purposes. It has an adjustable top tray so you angle the desk to however is comfortable for you. The padding on the bottom is very comfortable and so far it has held up really well, it is also removable if you wish. The only downfall for me was that my cordless Logitech mouse would not register on the trackpad as is. I bought a small mouse pad that I set on top of it and it works great.

I like this - fits my use
Sturdy for the money - heavy duty plastic. Fits my 17" computer fine.I use it in a wing chair and on a sofa letting it sit in my lap - the cushion is more than sufficient to be comfortable and balance the weight. The cushion fits the whole bottom which is nice. Many lap desks only have two stirps of cushion front and back. The height adjustments allow for numerous angles making it easy to sit at any angle then adjust the computer for best viewing at that time. The cooling fan is pretty quiet and a big help - keeps the laptop much cooler and keeps heat off my legs.I have started using this on my kitchen table to allow me to angle up the laptop instead of having to work with it flat. Easier to type and see the screen.I think this unit is worth the price.

Flimsy, slippery surfaces, painful at wrists
Pros:- Fan (probably my favorite feature along with the soft pad underside)- soft underside for lap- angles of laptop seem appropriate- ability to put mouse pad on either sideCons:- Mouse on mouse pad slips and pad is not sticky at all as another user suggested. I feel a little lied to on that but maybe their design changes.- Mouse pad does not push in for storage, you have to unlock it and store it inside the unit. It also feels flimsy and like it may break easily.- Laptop ledge to prevent the laptop from falling forward goes up right where hands are making it very uncomfortable. It is not soft.- Laptop pad is not sticky either, but that doesn't really matter so much since the ledge prevents it from falling forward.Unfortunately, I will be returning this. I found a really great, sturdy wood one that has all the features I'm looking for minus the fan but I'd rather have something that won't fall apart.
