Coral Sea Keycaps

What I liked: The keycaps look and feel great, and come at a great price. Nicely stealthy with the backlighting off and the shinethrough looks great with backlighting on. Make sure that your keyboard has top/north-facing LEDs! These were great as replacement keycaps for my WASD Code keyboard. There are also extra white keys included if you wanted to swap some keys out. What could have been better: Extra keycaps for the bottom row would have been nice, to accommodate Mac or other nonstandard setups. My keyboard has two OS keys and a single Fn/menu key, so the included caps don't quite match. It would have been nice to have some generic or blank keycaps for this purpose. At the same time, I already knew this was going to be an issue based on the included keycaps shown in the product photos so I can't give a lower rating for this.

Pretty amazing, the color & durability of this item is wonderful the keys feel amazing & colorful appearance is awesome. Not to mention the battery life is amazing

Key point: do NOT get this if your keyboard has south facing rgb light. Since the legends are on the top of each key, the shine through will only work if your rgb is north-facing. When I read the description more carefully I realized they did mention this but it’s buried in a large chunk of text. it’s such an important detail so I wish the seller was more clear by making it a warning in the product photo or something. I’m new to keyboard customization so I wasn’t aware of it when I bought it. These are actually really pretty and quite decent in quality for the price, every cap fitted tightly. The keys feel slightly light and plastic-y but that’s kinda expected for what I paid. Overall, these do feel decent when typing, and I would’ve kept them if I had a north facing rgb keyboard

Beautiful key set, I have a WASD (defunct) Code v3 keyboard which came with much lighter key caps that were wearing out. These are thicker and give a much more satisfying feel combined with my keyboard’s clickiness (Cherry MX Green switches). Since they’re double shot (there’s a clear under layer for LEDs to shine through the labels and another solid purple layer) they feel like they have better build quality and will last longer. I do wish they included a few more alternate keycaps, for example my board has two win keys and a combined fn and right context menu key. I would even pay a few bucks to buy it separately, but I do understand keyboards vary a lot and it’s hard to do all of them.

They feel wonderful! Lightweight, fit great, and type very nicely to my keyboard. Unfortunately, I bought the wrong keycaps for a south-facing LED keyboard. The keys are not bright enough in this case, and that’s my error. However, what is south-facing is visible and I enjoy how nice it looks. I will need to get the proper keys, but are overall very nice to use!

This is very unfortunate, I really did not want to make a negative review but if I am being completely honest these keycaps don't have great see through light illumination. I just installed them today and looks amazing without any led lights on. They feel and work great but I will have to return these as they are hardly see through at all. I have custom Star Wars keycaps and you can see how incredibly see through they are but compared to these barely any light gets through. The "black" keycaps is more dark greyish I was super excited to try these out but unfortunately will have to return due to this

Fit a Redragon K580 Vata perfectly. Light shines through as expected. Very happy with these keycaps for the price.

Great keycaps, excellent fit with Gateron switches. Will purchase again in the future.

These keys are great for north facing backlight LEDs. Very bright and clear. They feel good and sound possibly quieter than the original OSA keyset on my Keychron K2 HE. They have almost exactly the same surface texture as the Keychron set. The only problem is with the HOME key. There is only one and it is made for row 4. The 75%, 84 key, K2 HE has the Home key on row 2, as do many other keyboards I have seen. As a result the Home key is far too tall. This set has numerous duplicated keys in different heights. It needs a shorter Home key as well. Other than that I strongly recommend this keyset, as long as your home key is on the top two rows. I have since found that there is a Pause key included in the set which is the right height. So my Home key now says Pause. But, at least it doesn't stick up like a sore thumb.

These are great quality keycaps with a good sound profile and very clear legends. If you have north-facing LEDs and want shinethrough keycaps, these should be considered.

I've tried a few other keycap sets in this price range, these are the best yet. They arrive extremely well packaged and protected, with a basic yet highly effective plastic key puller thoughtfully included. The fitment is perfect, as is the colouring, finish, texture and labelling which is clear with a brilliant shine through effect. They sound great too, not cheap nor hollow like other similar sets that I've tried. They're not thin nor flimsy, with a decent thickness and weight to them, which is impressive given their price point. I'm using them with a Corsair K65 and they fit the aesthetic perfectly, with the gradient of grey colouring.
