Looked used
Very cheap quality. After 1 use there is stain left. Never go away after washing it.

Not really practical
The idlis are really mini. You can put only half a tablespoon of dough. This could take forever to make it. By the time you butter it there is no space for the dough.

I bought those rack to cook meatballs in my Instant Pot. Unfortunately, in order to use it, you have to make really small meatballs. Regardless, the only problem I have with this rack is that the plates tend to be crooked, which doesn't lend itself to making items of a cohesive size.

Cute...Check, Practical....???
Not sure how practical this is....yes, definitely cute, presentation wise if you are hosting a party and have fried mini idlis or dhokla appetizers on your menu. But like all reviewers have mentioned, these are very very tiny pieces. Tried making dhokla today...added 1/2 tsp batter per round as wasn't sure it can take more than that....however, it didn't fluff up and came out pretty flat, not sure if that's because there are no holes like one sees in a standard idli steaming stand.... Will try making mini idlis some day and use maybe 3/4 tsp batter per round and see if the idlis fluff up or come out dense.
