Works pretty well on a TRX4 truck
I got this to drive fpv on my trx4 crawler/trail runner. You'll need an adapter if you want to run it off the esc battery plug. While this camera seems meant for a drone, it still works decent on the ground, although interference from buildings is quite noticeable if you're driving it around them out of LOS.Quite happy with it though - the microphone is neat and works well. Seema an overall great camera for the pricepoint

Works Perfectly
The camera works as advertised, and arrived a day early!I tested using a Black Pearl RC801 diversity RX. The video locked up immediately, and the OSD is a nice feature. As others have reported, it powers up at full power (200mW), and gets warm quickly using a 3s LiPo. However, it is very easy to drop the power as indicated by the OSD. I backed it down to 25 mW to test...No question, its a fisheye...the image is sharp, but I can't comment on color as I tested indoors at night, under domestic LED lighting. I will update after flying this rig tomorrow - it is tiny at 9 grams. So far, no complaints.

Great little camera
Works with most any goggles and dig the adjustable VTX power. If anything it'd be good to have an accessible OSD port. I'm attaching it to any of our RC cars powered by the RC receivers.

Heat ! Not great resolution but fantastic customer service experience
Please read !! Update 2nd attempt q+ I installed fan and did a good bit of modification and it does work ok so it's a good product I think I just received a bad one from qc but with my phone connected it works ok for short to moderate range but customers service was very helpful and refunded me for the issues that I had and mods I had to do I use it on a rc car so less air flow then my drone will provide but after installed a brushless fan I got her working and running ok and I used velcro patches lock type double plastic sides and a 1 s lipo battery to power fan also velcro patches lock on so a decent project and a ok fpv camera in the end ! Just not the clarity or ease of use I expected but of course I believe I got a lemon!! Update. Before the fan review !! QST attempt Recommended volts in one minute First excuse my poor typing but this camera has a lot of issues huge issues it needs atleast 7.4 volts a 2s lipo ok so do able when plugged in to just 7.4 a 2s lipo polymer pack it gets so hot it will melt or burn out and or you from the tiny heatsink! Second clamshell plastic case of fpv camera and transmitter was poor and not completely sealed like cheesy poor quality and 3rd after doing a ton of work to keep it cool mind you it says 2s to 4s power source just 7 volts needed a powerful brushless fan installed it gets so hot in less then a 60 seconds so I did all this work threw it on a rc car hobby grade to test as I didn't feel like loosing a brushless quadrotor if it failed but in line of sight picture quality is extremely poor so !!

Great Analog Cam Combo!
These Spotter V2 cameras are the best bang for the buck. Durable for RC car rollovers & bashing. I also use to FPV drive RC cars & crawlers with Skyzone 04LV2 goggles. Simple combo unit with very decent lens. I have 3 of them. Inside and outside of RC model video is great. Be mindful of keeping airflow on the unit. The video (low res on box monitor, not goggles) has a cam on a Traxxas Maxx V2 bashing. This is my most beat-up cam of the 3 I have, & it's still working!
