Dometic SeaStar Seal Kit, HS5167, without Wrench

I wasted money buying a different brand that was cheap and leaked immediately. tried to tighten w/o luck and threw it away Bought this for my Sea star and hasn't leaked 1 drop. I wish I bought this one first.

These Dometic SeaStar seals are very high quality and will last many years. My customer bought the cheaper version from China and they failed in 3 months and had to do the job twice!! Don't buy cheap China parts on Amazon for critical systems like steering, lighting and engine parts.

These seals leak after about three months, they were cheap, but I got what I paid for. they were easy to install.

Don’t buy the off brand seals…they don’t work. These seals have very tight tolerances and work great

This has been interesting to say the least. I purchased the item with the tool first. Tool is aluminum and didn’t stand a chance. Can’t return tool only so sending the entire kit back. Then I order the kit without tool and purchase the marine tech tool. The kit (without tool) shows up today. The seals are different from the OEM (Seastar Solutions) kit. Also, only 1 oring (not like picture), only 4 notches for spanner and no protection sleeve for installation as shown in description. I’m not one to return items, but here goes number 2 in the same week.
