Worth the watch...
I liked the first one the most, it is well done with a star studded cast. The second one is interesting with similar casting, but a little too much emphasis on cold Fusion which was new at the time but controversial at best now days as an energy souse, kind of like Quantum Photonics, i.e., free clean cheap energy. But the movies are good sifi films.

Alien Invasion Classics
Watching them again, these movies are pretty ridiculous, but that's part of the charm. Humans Vs Evil Aliens. What's not to like? Enjoyed these? Check out Skyline, Edge Of Tomorrow, and Starship Troopers.

“INDEPENDENCE DAY” is the actual title....
This is NOT the name of the movie. The movies are “Independence Day” 1 & 2. The line “when the world came together to fight...” is just a line describing the movie, and not the title. But they’re still good movies! Will Smith is the best part of the first one, and sorely missed in the second. It’s still a good watch though.
